Gelato Firenze

Food and drink*** A whole in the wall business that serves Gelato and bobas. I had a chocolate Gelato that was ok. Ambiance**Not much Ambiance. I know they are doing their best to be safe. The server is way back, wearing a mask and using a creative contraption to collect money. Accessibility****This easy to get to with a wheel chair. Street parking can be difficult but you can park in the Trader Joes parking lot. Cost***average. Service**The person behind the mask serving the ice cream felt robotic, and she didn't seem interested in relating to me. She was not friendly. When I asked about the Gelato, she just pointed to the sign.

Their gelato/ice cream is terrible. We had the mint chocolate chip (chemically tasting, like tic-tacs) and coffee (really mediocre). Their covid protocol (in April ‘22) is also comical, with a 6-foot poll on which the card reader is passed under a window, and the worker standing far away from the window and speaking through a microphone (but not able to hear the customer who has no microphone). Overall weird experience and bad ice cream.

I always pass by so was tempted to try today just because i am on a gelato spree since the hot weekend. The service is nice and friendly and the place is cute, small and clean with couple tables to sit. Lots of gelato flavors. Went for the pistachio 2 small scoops for 3.75. Thought the pricing is really great with the amount you get. Flavor was good but not as good as pistachio at Alimento in SF! Would love to come back and try more flavors.

Awesome I had the grapefruit and orange drink and I can't wait to come back to try something else. My youngest daughter loved the Oreo shake, my oldest daughter loved her chai tea and their dads kiwi slushy was also delicious. I'd love to try their ice creams next and can't wait for another hot day to come in.

The most delicious gelato shop I've ever been to. My favorite thing to do is go walk around Lake Merritt, literally 5 minutes away walking and after a nice and pleasant walk around the lake, I always go to get some gelato. I am working on taste testing all the flavors and so far I have liked every single one!! Definitely such a treat especially on a nice and beautiful and sunny hot day!

I used to go here every once in a while for gelato, but since they added bubble tea to their menu, I go here a lot more! They have the tea based teas, but also offer smoothies with tapioca in them. I know some of their smoothies are made with fresh fruits and such, but I don't think all of them are, but they're all good. I think my favorite is either mango or avocado. They're also able to do their teas hot for those cold days. Nothing like hot taro tapioca tea!
