I had been wanting to eat here for a while but hadn't managed to, they were always so busy! So we went right at opening time before heading to the movies - and it was perfect. Great cocktail selection and amazing food, the open kitchen is really cool. Our waiter was friendly, fun and very fast! Lovely decor as well.
We were here for dinner . Great service , fast , nice and proper. The cocktails were exquisite, impressive for a restaurant! The food was very delicious. If I could I’d give 10 stars . Def coming back to try the brunch!
Not sure it’s even possible to make a bad choice here. Everything was delicious in both presentation and taste.
Vegetable quiche is one of those plates you don’t get to share, because you will want it all for yourself. Pairs well with a spicy Bloody Mary.
Don’t pass this place up if your in town.
What a wonderful dining experience! We booked ahead as it always seemed impossible to get a table when walking by. Cool, rustic feeling in the dining area. Staff was super nice and helpful. But the food stood out. We got three things and all were a hit. Standout pick was the porkchop. A smokey sweet porkchop with mash potatoes, veggies, and apricots. I think it might be the best porkchop I've ever eaten. Definitely recommend eating at this establishment!
This is a perfect date spot! The ambiance is romantic and unique. The menu is interesting and delivers on its promises. The cocktails are also unique and delightful. Would absolutely recommend giving this place a shot.
Outstanding. My partner has some dietary restrictions, and the Chef came out personally to modify the menu on the spot to cater to our needs.

The cocktails and beer (from a local brewery!) selection are definitely top notch, as well. Wonderful service, too; our server was having a great time and was very helpful. My glass was never empty for a second, and I was never looking around trying to find someone to help us.
The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant, using charcoal and I think wood!? Everything in the restaurant is oriented towards food focus, which I actually find refreshing. Total culinary art in a way that had me feeling cozy, excited, and satisfied, without any distractions like superfluous garnishes or loud music (They did play Chaka Khan<3).
Just visited this place last week for my birthday and Nikki did a fantastic job! Delicious food and very professional service! This is a MUST visit restaurant in Oakland! 👌
