Exceptional quality with every dish. Seafood is always impressive, seasoning beautifully done. Miso soup richly flavored without being salty, vegetable dishes crunchy, more than a side dish. They have takeout! Important info for these cautious times. We observed them repeatedly yet decorously sanitizing during our dinner this weekend. We shall return.

We wanted so much more from this place. Sushi is very under represented in this area. First. It's operated by a Chinese family, which is TOTALLY FINE. However, you have to deliver! Sushi, the food AND the service. The first person to the table was an older (probably 4 years older than me) woman who said nothing but "what do you want to drink"? It went downhill from there. Food was incredibly late. Not as described. Thrown at us. We paid and left. We then went to the, not great but very good, Korean run Sushi bar 10 minutes away.

I have had lunch twice at Rikyu and was very pleased with the ambiance, the service and the food. I had a bento box both times. The grilled teriaki fish was just fabulous. the portion was generous, the seasoning perfect and the fish was moist and succulent. Every other item in the bento box was equally good. In addition to great food, the price was modest. I highly recommend Rikyu.
