Food was decent. Had a small bowl of wide noodle soup with minced pork. It was filling enough for me and was an excellent bargain for $4.95. My daughter had the yellow curry and said it was very flavorful. This is a great place to get Laotian/Thai food without breaking the bank book. We had the soup, curry, a bowl of glutinous rice and chicken wings for $26.00. Not a bad price at all..

“Outstanding Seafood Restaurant”
Everything about Scott's is first-rate. The ambiance is great -- with waterfront views and a rich interior. The service was perfect -- friendly, informative, and prompt. I had the sea bass -- perfectly crusted and flavored. And all of this was had at a reasonable price.

my rice noodles are good, different from what I'm used to but good. My wife ordered the prawn lemon grass soup with a sub of chicken and tofu for the prawns, asked for no mushroom and mixed vegetables. It has mushrooms, and there was not a single stick of lemon grass. Would be rated higher if my wife was satisfied. I am, not much chicken with my noodles, but still good as said before. I might come back again, but not with my wifes order. I'm on the prowl again for a good thai restaurant she will like.

Enrique, our waiter, was fantastic and attended to our every need. We started with the walnut and pear salad followed by cioppino, sea bass and swordfish for the main courses. We had a window

For Oakland, this was a nice setting. Our server was attentive and there when needed. I had a mixed seafood entrée with rice but the seafood was totally covered with a heavy sauce, so couldn't taste the food. Average.

My favorite Laotian/Thai place in oakland. Reasonable pricing, clean enough, and some great flavors. My two favorite dishes are the Nam Kao and the Crispy Papaya Salad.

Ordered a recommended (by the hostess) noodle soup (L6) from the Laotian Special Menu. I don't know if it's authentic, but it tasted really good. Definitely will go again.

Always a treat, family owned and no better place to get Laotian food in the Bay Area. Oakland is a gem of food varieties and Souk Savanh is a diamond in the rough! Their wings are stuff that dreams are made of.
