Filippo's Pastaria

During covid I kept my rings crossed for this gem to stay open, so happy it did and want people to treat there self to a delish meal. I have loved this restaurant since I was a teen and followed them from 3 locations. The food never fails it is always so delicious and the staff is still give tip of the line hospitality and smiling (with there eyes now due to the covid safety mask). They have outdoor seating due to covid and have the tables spaced out. The food was absolutely amazing and it was chilly out so the heaters above each table are so wonderful. Also the owner took extra steps to insure customers safety during covid and have packages salt and pepper packets and compostsable water cups and out table was cleaned and prepped when we were seated. Everything I have ordered from this place is so yummy and they have vegetarian dishes on the menu also for when I don’t feel like eating meet. I work not to far at times I'm so busy I'm thrilled they also have delivery through caviar if you don't feel comfortable (covid) going out yet then order a meal delivered you will be so happy you did. Please help support hard working small businesses at this time so they can stay around 💖🙏🏽🙌🏽 a few of my favorite dishes 🙂🙃🤤

Cute little family owned restaurant. The owner and his daughter “the real boss” were very sweet and quick with their service. The food was yummy and a good serving, our table got the salmon dish, lasagna and gnocci in mushroom sauce - all were yummy and a great price! This place also has a cute ambiance going on, I’d recommend it :)

What a great service! What a great food! Five of us had a dinner at Filippo's last night. We all ordered different dishes and all of us were super happy with our food. Brussel sprouts, shishito peppers, burrata (with heirloom tomatoes), salmon, pasta, salads were all amazing! The service was prompt, caring, humble and with a smile (under the mask 😉) Highly recommend this Oakland gem! 😊
