Blackberry Bistro

This was my first time coming to this restaurant and it will definitely be the last time!!! Came to this location day before Halloween...and had the worst service! An hour wait!!! While there were hardly any customers inside the restaurant. The customer service was the worst as well! Took forever to bring the food and the beverages. This place needs quicker and efficient service or they will lose valuable customers quick!

The food was lacking a lot of things. Let’s start with the eggs,I ordered the omelet the eggs were burnt and my Father had order poached eggs they were over cooked as well as the center should be goey in the middle. Next the potatoes there is wasn’t many on my plate and they lacked flavor, wasn’t cut uniformly which messes up the taste of the dish. The biscuits were really large and lacked the flakiness and was on the doughy side. There were sliced tomatoes on my plate but they were over ripe which made them look unappealing and felt like they didn’t belong on the plate. Overall I was disappointed coming here because I read food reviews and I didn’t get that type of service.

The only reason why I'm giving them a one star is because they have decent coffee. Where do I start.....let me just make this a short and sweet review. My glass of water had lipstick on it, the bacon was made into chicharon (way to crispy on the verge of burnt)the potatoes were so hard that you wonder how long they had been sitting there. The orange vanilla French toast had a good crust on them, but unfortunately they tasted like they were spoiled (as in maybe the milk?)And let's not talk about the prices.....the French toast does NOT come with syrup, that was an additional $2. If you order a single egg its $2.50. To end this in a good note, its a cute place on a corner with out door seating.
