I love this place, great friendly staff, amazing food and I even got to work with Nagi the sushi chef to come up with a roll called the " that's how I " roll . I recommend it highly. Also it gets a little crowded on happy hour days.
Been going there since they opened! Love the owners and JJ our waiter. There are a plenty of sushi places to go to. We always go to Sake Bob!!!
So upon my arrival, I immediately knew i was in for an authentic experience with a hint of hometown chicago style thrown into the mix. No frills, no thrills, just good food and friendly owners. The salmon was fresh and delicious. The Udon noodle bowl was just what the soul needed. And thier special sauce, that they put on some of their signatures rolls, tasted like a mix of honey, maple syrup, and eel sauce. Oh man was it good! Will be back next time I'm in town!
This place is definitely down home. From the moment I walked in I knew they are doing everything themselves. The food came out quick and hot and fresh. We ordered multiple things and finished them all. If you are in the area it’s a must try. They even have a bar and the game is always on!
Small little gem that I highly reccomend. The food is great, but the sushi is outstanding. Price is about on par with any competitors. Wide selection of drinks, and many interesting unique sushi rolls. Definetely worth trying.
I love this place. The owners are so nice and the atmosphere is very cool.
The sushi is very delicious and fresh. I loved the shrimo tempura and seaweed salad as well. Good portions. Highly reccomend Sakebob!
I love the atmosphere of this place. Feels like I'm in a Japanese restaurant lol
Overall, the food was great and the (I believe) owner made all of the food herself for us. She made extra and brought it to us lol.
Delicious food, a vibrant staff and a familiar atmosphere, what more could you want? It feels like a ma and pop sushi restaurant with my favorite waitress there cracking jokes with me and my SO.
