Staff is very welcoming, attentive and doesn’t rush their tables. They’re often checking up on the tables and making sure everyone is enjoying their time.
Architecture and design, both in and out is beautiful and inspiring. You feel as if you’re in a different country 😂
The food comes at the perfect time and not rushed.
Their bar is also a great touch. Seating area upstairs provides beautiful views !
Only downfall was that they didn’t have some desserts we ordered… items they don’t carry or ran out of should be crossed out or mentioned at the table.

In the past, I've only had Brunch at La Fontana, and we really liked it, they have a great assortment of delicious foods, and unlimited mimosas, a few of the bridge over the majestic,historic Hudson River ..Its a nice location , sometimes hard to find parking.
But we went there first time for Dinner with my brother and wife. The Dinner was even better than Brunch, the staff as always friendly and accommodating, we all had different dishes, but my wife ordered the filet Branzino with lemon and capers. .and it was perfect, it was a great night that mixes old world charm with updated specials , all that was missing was Sinatra at the Piano Bar, but I guess good food,good service and nice atmosphere is a nice substitute.......Brunch or Dinner, I can highly recommend!
Lovely atmosphere, great service and beautiful food. We came for lunch and split the cesar salad and Penne LaFontana. Perfect Italian bread served at the table. The service was prompt and attentive but kept a low profile. The space is bright and full of plants, with old world Italian touches. We loved the music and overall vibe. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Stopped by for a late lunch. Chicken Parmesan was delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. Nice pace to the meal. Note they don’t have a lunch menu. Same all day.
We went to La Fontana as a work group. It was a catered buffet so I was not able to try the individual dishes other than what was brought out in bulk. The dishes they served were chicken marsala, vodka penne pasta, salmon with cream sauce, sauteed vegetables, roasted potatoes, as well as a house and Caesar salad. It was all very tasty and the staff was quick to clear the tables and keep the food fresh. For dessert we had tiramisu, yellow and chocolate cake and ice cream. The cow overlooking the Hudson was great too. The restrooms were clean and we'll stocked. Although I do not drink, they had a well stocked bar.
My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible
Was an incredible experience the service was over the top quality. They have air purifiers and you can eat in a calm and respectful atmosphere.
