Howling Wolf Taqueria Express

Love this place. They have great food selection and awesome taste. Food comes out food. We love the chicken wings and avocado wrap at this location. Plenty of parking in the front. Would love to give 5 star but 4 star is for staff taking in the order, they never have smile on their face, no how are you or thank you. Cooking staff was very pleasant and accommodating on suggestions and asking how the food was. Bartender was good as well.

Worst Mexican food we’ve ever had! We ordered some burritos and chimichangas along with some chips and guacamole. The food had no flavor— everything was so bland. We ended up throwing everything away and ordered some pizza instead. What a waste of time and money! And they also messed up our order. The manager was so rude and didn’t even apologize for the mistake they made instead he blamed it on us. He didn’t even try to make it right or offered us a refund.

I’ve been here many times and usually it’s super good. Last week I came in the rice was extremely hard, it wasn’t even edible and the taste was really off. The burrito always has cheese and it wasn’t even melted it was like eating a block of cheese. I don’t think I’ll be coming here again anytime soon. I gave 3 stars because it was the only time I got bad food but I’m super picky.

Man is this place delicious. We had initially gone to the Salem, MA location which is a more fully featured restaurant, and loved it so much we decided to try this express version down the street from us. I can’t recommend it enough if you like Mexican food! All the appetizers are phenomenal (though I’m sad this location does not do bacon wrapped jalapeños like in Salem) and I could chug their jalapeño ranch sauce by the gallon. Their quesadillas are fairly priced, well made, and very filling and delicious. They also do online ordering which is a huge plus for me. It’s a very simple and easy to use system and ensures you’re putting in the exact order you want. The actual facilities are what you’d expect from an Express version - there are a few tables and a bar. Easy in, easy out. Friendly staff too. If you’re looking for some Mexican food it’s an easy pick that you won’t regret.
