Since forever..... Dario's - in Newhall, is our favorite Go-to for a great meal. The dishes are great! Even the little dinner salad, I order blue cheese dressing, is tasty! The Carne Asada, the steak Fajitas, the tacos all carbon are my regular orders. Everything is delicious- including the Margaritas! They have a full bar, so you can order everything! Great chips & salsa, muy important! Live music from Jimmy several nights. The restaurant is cozy, the staff is delightfully polite & helpful. They are open everyday! Even Monday! The best!
Love the food I can have breakfast and lunch at the same time.bring back memories when the first time here with my boyfriend and his families.
We ate at Dario’s today and the food was great!!! It was fresh! This place can be a hit or miss depending on time, but today it was a HIT! 👏🏻🏅🇲🇽💕My boyfriend who is a Chef gave them a 9 of 10! The green enchilada was delicious as well as the huevos omelette!
Very delicious Mexican food.
What I actually love about this place is it’s locations. It really feels like one of those hole in the wall places. The restaurant is located next to a gas station. I would drive by it all the time and had no idea the building next to it was a restaurant.
Service is great. Food is better. Unlimited chips and salsa.
Looking forward to coming back.

Came for happy hour and the $5 schooner is a good price. I had chicken flatas which are crunchy and filling. Small bar area, rustic building friendly service.
We love Dario's. The food is delicious, the service is good and the food portions generous. One of our favorite restaurants in Newhall. Never a bad meal or time. Thank you 😊
Their bartender is usually pretty generous with his pours, I've yet to have a watered down margarita, but the reason I dock one star is for the service. It's pretty up in the air. Sometimes the waitress is awesome and comes around a lot and other times the waitress acts like you do not exist and ignores you once she realizes you are just here for the cheap drinks. This was my most recent experience, and while I won't let it prevent me from coming back, it might be a bit longer just cuz of the sour taste it left.
They also do brunch sundays which I have been curious to try. I shall update when I've done so. For now, it's my favorite $4 margarita joint after 6.
Found this little gem. Service was awesome, didn't have to wait long to be seated and server was there with chips and salsa. Then came back in a little to take my order. Food came out fast and hot just like it came off your stove at home. Food tasted so delicious. I ordered the Linda Enchiladas & a side of taquitos (shred beef) everything I ordered had a good delicious flavor. I got here a little before dinner time but it does get busy here from the time I was leaving it was a full house. It is worth the wait if you come. Just do get discouraged by the way it looks outside don't mean it's in a bad area just it looks a little out of place BUT THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS AWESOME!!!!! I will be returning even after I do some dirt bike riding. Pass this place going & coming from Gorman.
Can I just say AMAZING salsa! Really though amazing! Fun and cozy atmosphere and good food, but the salsa is the star! Loved the variety and was pleased to find they're open for lunch and offer to-go options. Staff was incredibly attentive and very sweet. Had a family business atmosphere that suggested every employee had a personal stake in your experience. Cannot praise the staff enough! Reasonable prices and again salsa worth a 4 hour drive. We'll be back!
The food was great and very reasonably priced and the service is great. It's not fancy, it's a traditional old time dark Mexican restaurant but very good food, service and good prices are what you get.
