Cipriani Dolci

Cipriani Dolci New York was a recommendation by my friend. She likes the restaurant a lot. To be honest, the location is nice and the vibes of the restaurant was good. The staff were lovely and very welcoming with big smiles. We sad in a nice table and the arrangement was nice. But, I didn’t like the food that much, I had the ravioli, mushroom risotto 🍝 and a salad 🥗. Maybe I would come again for coffee or something small.

Didn't eat this time around, just had cocktails at the bar. The bartender (I didn't catch her name) was warm, friendly and very professional. The drinks were great!! Located on balcony of the grand hall in Grand Central makes it a perfect place to take a beat and really appreciate the beauty of grand central.

Dropped by here to take a break and order x02 coffee and a cake. Right off the bat, the service was just bad, bordering on judgemental. There were two of us and we were seated along the main "aisle" of the venue as compared to the couple who was right in front of us. They were given seats with a view, directly facing the concourse. Both parties were not having meals and despite having another table with the same view, we were not provided the same treatment. At the same time, there were no reservations for the said available table. During our visit, let's just say that service barely existed. If anything, it would appear that they were in a rush to get us out of there asap. In addition, a food service station was set up right next to our table. While portioning the food, the server nearly elbowed my face several times. In their attempt to provide excellent service to the table of Caucasians who ordered lunch, they had set up service right next to the table who merely ordered coffee. The service table could have been set up slightly nearer to the lunch party but that would have caused a disturbance to them, nevermind if you might have a high chance of elbowing some Asian in the face. Let's be honest here, you are not coming to this place for the food or the drinks. You are coming here for the vibe, the location and the overpriced menu. The least you could do is to provide excellent service to all who patronise your establishment, regardless of race or nationality.
