We came here for the Restaurant Week. Very friendly receptionist and staff overall. We both chose the Restaurant Week menu, three courses for 50.-, no tips allowed. Which makes it a little more expensive than the regular Restaurant Week 42.- dinner. However, it’s more than worth it. All six dishes were very good to excellent. The chef obviously works with high quality ingredients, fish and meat, but also veggies and sides. Innovative American cuisine. Interesting combination of tastes, nicely presented. Don’t miss out on the desserts. (Apologies for the bad picture quality due to the dark room we were sat.)
Went there for team dinner during the restaurant week. The goat Linguine was out of the world. Had the bluefish and baked Alaska. Both of them were very good. Thought that their drinks were pricey but the good, friendly service made up for it. They don't take additional tips which is refreshing and means that tips have been priced into the menu.
3rd visit here. Each time has been quality. On 2 occasions, including this time, I've ordered duck and once I ordered venison, which was a seasonal special.
First time eating venison. It was amazing. So tender and with a much more subtle flavour than other red meats.
Duck is excellent. Perfectly cooked medium rare and my one of my favourite dishes.
Attentive service and good atmosphere. This is not a "quick meal". Food takes some time.
Pictured is the duck breast, crispy chicken breast (surprisingly good), and chocolate mousse.
I love this place. The ambiance is perfect, the cocktails are fun and the food is amazing. I had the lobster dumplings which were flawlessly crafted. I had some of my families dishes as well and they were just as good. I will definitely be back.
The food and service were good. Ambiance was so-so, a bit quiet and our table was drafty. The caramelized butternut was good but small and not quite what we expected. The bok choy was slightly oily and I would have liked more seasoning. Loved the homemade bread! For the main course I had the venison and my husband had the mushroom risotto, both delicious! For dessert I devoured the chocolate mouse cake - so yummy! Yes, there is no tipping her but the price of the food makes up for that. Overall, it was a good dinner but not sure we'll be back. So many other places to try. It's worth trying none-the-less.
Had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly and attentive. Autumn took care of us this evening and was quite knowledgeable about the menu items, and all the fancy food words I didn't know. She made excellent wine pairing recommendations and ensured we were satisfied with everything. Food was delicious and flavors balanced. Portions were much larger than we anticipated. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant.
Such a great experience at this little gem. Drinks and food superb and the nicest staff ever!!!!
This will be my regular spot❤️
We had a dinner there with 3 of our good friends (5 total). the staff was great and since we made a reservation we were seated right away. We started with a bottle of cava which was nice, and we all ordered different things off the menu. Our server was nice and she helped guide some of us who were indecisive about what we wanted. all the meals were great and so was dessert. I will come back with friends again for sure, but my advice is to anyone is make a reservation, the space isn't all that big.
