wow! the vegetarian options are amazing! you can’t even tell it’s not real meat! the servers don’t speak that well of english and it took about 1/2 an hour to get our food though, but definitely a great meat alternative place!

Beautiful place in Chinatown! Great vegetarian restaurant with plenty of options. We eat meat so we’re curious on how it would taste but it was phenomenal! Had the bbq beef steamed buns and Singapore thin spicy noodles. Both were fantastic. They serve hot tea as soon as you sit which is awesome on a nice cold day.

Lots of delicious options for dim sum. There were so many choices! People here are very nice as well. Generally, I think 3-4 dim sum dishes here per person will fill you up. I loved the Buddha bean curd roll, steamed meat ball, and the beech mushroom rice roll. The fried sticky rice was good but needed a tiny bit more salt. I would order it again. I didn't care for the ribs since the meatballs are much better. My husband had the shrimp dumplings. Definitely recommend to any vegetarian! Will return

My favorite vegetarian restaurant in NYC! I hadn't been back in a few years but was happy to find everything just as amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful while food is affordable and delicious. These dishes are unique in that many of them are near impossible to find with vegetarian alternatives. They are also Kosher! I took my order to go this time but if you dine in, they serve you a fresh pot of tea included with dining in (so FREE). 10/10 place to visit!

Excellent!!! Used to go to vegetarian dumpling house for years because a friend of mine prefers the food there but honestly. Feel BB is cleaner and more pleasant all around. The food was great and well received by my 4 German guests- none of them vegan or vegetarian. 😂😂 both kids were convinced the vegan meat was a total scam and we were instead given real meat! We came for dim sum as this was on their to do list and they absolutely loved it!!! Awesome times!

We order Singapore style noodles, spinach rice rolls, and “fish” curry. Everything was delicious; however I really recommend the rice rolls. The spinach rice roll was the best and is usually hard to find at an all veg place. Next time I go I would totally just order rice rolls and dumplings :)

Vegetarian food can be so amazing, and at Buddha Bodai I was able to have some of the best vegetarian dim sum I've had so far. The food was so flavorful and the texture of the dumplings were simply perfect. I went family who were not vegetarian, and while at first they did not have high expectations, they were just completely blown away!

Enjoying vegetarian Dim-Sum for the first time, it's difficult to compare it but to non-vegetarian Dim-Sum venues. What stood out the most at Buddha Bodai was the impressive array of vegetarian Dim-Sum options. It's evident that the restaurant went to great lengths to craft a vegetarian alternative to nearly every conceivable Dim-Sum dish, and they achieved this marvelously. While the dumpling skins and bao texture were average, the flavors overall were delightful, offering a wholesome and healthy alternative to the traditional meat and seafood-based Dim-Sum dishes. We left with our taste buds satisfied and are eager to return for another experience.
