Just checked out Norma's for the first time and wow was I impressed. I was waited on by Orlando, who is absolutely phenomenal. I wanted the blueberry pancakes and duck hash. He gave me a half order of each. The Blueberry Pancakes are one of the best I've ever had. The duck hash is on another level. It is served in a skillet and comes with hash browns onions and a sunny side up egg. Holy Cow. Or Holy Duck. Norma's is definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the city. The service and food should be 10 stars. Great job Orlando. Thanks

Norma's is a must for me every time I visit NYC. I have never had a bad meal here. Service has always been very good too. It is pricey but with the portion sizes and quality of food, it is well worth it.

I didn’t order French toast, and I regret it. I always hesitate before going sweet at breakfast time, and because of this, Melinda won brunch wars with her berry French toast. The slab of brioche this dish was centered around was roughly the size of Queens, and while the flavor was rich, it wasn’t heavy at all. Raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries were strewn all over the place, and yet, the sweetness was kept at bay to stunning effect. It was epic and delicious - basically the epitome of what French toast should be.

I asked our lovely waiter if I should get the foie gras French toast or the artichoke benedict, and he steered me wrong. You know, he was a slim fellow and I should have been smart enough not to trust a skinny. The truffle porcini sauce on top of my eggs and pile of vegetables was delectable – silky and sexy, with all the umami flavor mushrooms should bring to the party. But it was completely thinned out by poached eggs, artichoke hearts that weren’t very well trimmed (I got a couple bites of choke), and a moat of sauteed bell peppers and small diced potatoes with no seasoning on them.

This dish needed texture, it needed seasoning, and most of all, it needed a carbohydrate vessel worthy of soaking up the masterful sauce. An artichoke heart is not an English muffin, Norma. It’s not even a piece of toast. And a tiny diced potato with no seasoning and no caramelization is just sad. I know this breakfast emporium has better dishes, and I felt gypped by this one.

Had a spectacular breakfast here. Had the chocolate infused French Toast. Probably not the healthiest choice but you only live once. The rest of the menu's offerings seemed equally delightful. Preferably make a booking. A once in a life time experience.

Quality and service was great. Waffle was crispy not too sweet and covered in fresh berries and whipped cream. We also shared a wonderful eggs Benedict. The only reason it's not 5* rating is the cost. Even with the understanding this was New York it was just severely overpriced.

This is a must visit and eat at kind of place.
The service was wonderful.
Our waiter, Robert, was a splendid help and persona to have.
The food was gorgeous! We all ordered individual meals and added a caramel French toast as a sharing meal.
I ordered the ancient five grain granola which was certainly a first.

If you're looking for a great meal, healthy or unhealthy, and don't mind having a bit of a food baby for some hours of your day, this is the place to go!

Thank you, Norma's staff, for accommodating us and our hungry bellies!

Right on Le Parker Meridien Hotel, this nice restaurant offers preparations with a mexican edge.
Superb service but a bit slow. Great overall products and preparations, with large servings.
We ordered Norma's Very Own Granola, Two Srambled Eggs with Multigrain Bread,
San Benedicto Poblano. Coffee and Orange Juice.
Highly recomended!

Can't emphasize enough on how good the breakfast is at Norma's! Their Upstream Eggs Benedict with salmon is absolutely delicious. I wanted to try their french toast and got a bit confused on which one to order since they all seem mouthwatering. After a battle, I finally decided on trying the Donut Even Go There! My oh my, this french toast is TO DIE FOR. No words can express how good this french toast is!

The service is fantastic, attentive, talkative. Something I was yet to find in New York as most places just serve you your food and leave you to it. My waiter helped me pick between meals and had great knowledge of the menu. Meals were large and flavoursome with a interesting twist on each dish. Definitely returning

Norma's is one of those corporate hidden gems. Totally the go to for the local business men and quaint breakfast meetings. When you sit down, there are complimentary smoothie shots waiting for you--automatically starting off your meal on a fab note. The staff was very much attentive both times I've eaten there for breakfast. My favorites for sure are their Breakfast Pizza (who knew that was even a thing) and the Crunchy French Toast, again like nothing I've ever had. The portions are very generous so you're absolutely getting what you pay for. Definitely come hungry and with a fat stack of cash!

I was told that brunch at Norma's at Le Parker Meridien is thing to do while in NYC. We dined with some friends and got to experience a fairly extravagant brunch. I did pay $20 for a smoked fish bagel the day before but somehow paying in the $30 range for any egg dish seemed outright crazy. The $9 unlimited fresh orange juice was not bad considering one large glass cost me $5.50 at a deli. The juice is absolutely delicious and worth it; much better than the unlimited coffee which had a fruity yet bitter aftertaste to it. They do serve you a complimentary shot glass of their daily juice which was a nice touch.

My $31 upstream eggs Benedict was two perfectly poached eggs with a nice hollandaise sauce on top of a pancake and served with a generous side of smoked salmon and some roasted baby potatoes. The dish was very good but very pricey.

Also tried their super blueberry pancakes which were two very large and very berry pancakes served with Devonshire cream. Very good pancake but it was also a $30 pancake.

The room is not that large and is packed with diners and can be quite loud. Service was nice though food service wasn't that quick. Overall, it's a fancy brunch place that serves up good brunch items but the price can be off putting since it's double the price of other brunch places. But this is the place that offers the $1000 lobster frittata with real caviar.

Loved it so much that I actually went back another time. Can you believe it? 2 times in the same restaurant in NYC. Blueberry pancakes, Belgian waffles and Crunchy French Toast are all to try! Loved their healthy pineapple shots and their floor clock! A must do

It is definitely pricey, BUT the plates are huge so great brunch for 2 is just: 1 main course and 1 portion for dessert. Don't take more - you will not make it:) Very intelligent and nice staff, delicious food and good coffee. Worth walking 15 minutes if you are in the area. Also, one of the few spots close to Central Park - and not over-crowded, which saves you time and mood in the morning :)

Bucket list menu items abound at Normas, the most high end diner ever. I went simple with the Papaya Mango Brown Butter Cinnamon crepes which is like a mango cobbler. So good. Portions are huge and reservations are a must, but absolutely worth a visit. Next time I want to come with a group so I can try everything. Note: their prices have increased substantially (and in some cases doubled) so be prepared to drop some coin.

Massive breakfasts served here! Service was attentive and our breakfast was very good. I had their cheesecake stuffed French toast and my husband had the brisket and cornbread dish. The French toast was delicious, but very sweet. My husband really enjoyed his meal. I like their creative options and will be back to try more.

This place was pricey, but the food did not disappoint! Our table had a good representation of the menu between four of us. I had the breakfast quesadilla and it was INCREDIBLE! It was like an eclectic stoner with a culinary degree dreamt it up and put it on my plate.... actually that’s pretty much sums up their entire menu. Everything is gorgeously plated and equally delicious. Did I mention that was have bottomless fresh squeezed OJ?!

3 stars for service, 4-5 for food. Being out of towners who are used to extraordinary environs and service when exposed to posh prices, we had higher expectations than what was served up. Service was initially quite slow and we waited nearly half an hour to get water glasses filled and when my husband expressed dissatisfaction with his mocha (which tasted to me also very much like a straight strong cappuccino rather than a mocha) was informed that this indeed was a mocha rather than a simple recognition that chocolate may have been lacking in the drink. The new mocha we got was good, though. The settings are simple, very diner style, and we received little guidance on taste profiles of dishes prior to ordering. The Artychokes dish was standout good, well worth the wait. Very tasty and Inventive with flavorful ingredients. The Berry brioche French toast was gorgeous but typical in terms of flavor and I would have preferred fresh berries this season rather than warm compote. Overall standard fare and experience intended for the very rich with prices that will keep out the Proletariat.

Fabulous place to get breakfast! Yes, it’s pricey but not really much more than the rest of the Brunches in the city and portions are huge! The banana macadamia pancakes were incredible- highly recommend them!

Great brunch place for friends hangout. I had Norma's egg Benedict and my friend tried egg Benedict with salmon. They both were good. Eggs on a small cute pancake. Environment is awesome. And location is the key. Walkable to many landmarks.

The best breakfast that I have ever eaten! We were four people and shared all the meals. We could not stop eating the risotto, all four of us like this the best. The quesadilla omelet was fantastic. Normas yaku was really tasty and had a fishy and shrimp taste. The chicken and mushroom omelet was also good. Also, the French press coffee, orange juice and the juice shot was really good. Staff was very friendly. All in all it was delicious!

I can’t describe how delicious was this dish, just try to imagine the combination of Pancakes and Egg Benedict. It was beyond perfect, I enjoyed every bite of it. I would totally come back to NYC just to have my breakfast here. Waiter was so nice, everything about this place was on point👍👍
