Great, authentic Chinese food! My Chinese friend was so happy to eat there. I recommend staying away from Americanized Chinese dishes and going for something else. The owner is from Taiwan (but her family is from Northeast China), and she is super friendly. I also recommend getting the milk tea bubble tea.
Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. I have enjoyed your restaurant every December 24th for the past five years. Your food has remained Consistently delicious. The Sesame chicken has a well balanced sweet and savory flavor and the whole breast presentation is wonderful.
Ask for the "Authentic Menu!" We ordered the garlic mushroom bok choy and the spicy pork with combination fried rice. All were served on large plates, family style. Best Chinese food I've had in the city. Much more authentic than Five Happiness. Owned by Chinese immigrants. They also serve various Oriental beers. Will be back very soon and now they also are available on uber eats and waitr.
Good food, a bit weird. I like my food tasty and my people weird, so I like Jung's. Most of my friends order from the "authentic" menu, but I prefer the regular menu. Everything I have had from the chicken dishes to the dumplings is always good and I like the atmosphere in general but one time I was in the middle of eating and suddenly someone behind the bar seemed to be microwaving boiled eggs. It's not a huge place and it was immediately filled with a disgusting sulphur smell, like being trapped INSIDE someone's fart while eating Chinese food. That memory haunts me. Please do not do that.
Best Chinese in Nola. This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in New Orleans. After 3 years of searching we have finally found our "go to" place. The chicken and beef are super fresh, the Mongolian beef is awesome!!! There is no need to go to PF Changs or PEi Wei. This place is so much better....And they also have some more authentic selections as well.
General Tso's Chicken is one of the best I have had... Full breast filets not misc. pieces.
Tasty. Fresh and tasty food. Sizable portions and freshly cooked food. I was pleased to find that for once, the tofu was cooked correctly rather than taken out of a Walmart packet and put cold onto a hot dish.
Prices were also very good for the large dish's - everyone had leftovers .
Service was great and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Jung's. They steamed vegetable dumplings are the best I've ever had. The crab rangoons have actual crab in them! The egg drop soup is standard. The shrimp with cashews was nice and light and the General Tsao tofu was rich and sweet with a mild spice. The food is always delicious. The service is good, except there are sometimes miscommunications or the sever doesn't understand you. They are very nice about it, but it does require a small effort. It's worth it.
Authentic and the best in a city that doesn't yet understand Chinese. No slander to NOLA here but the city in general doesn't quite get real Chinese yet. The best most varied an authentic uptown and possibly in town. There are "americanized" selections for the uninitiated but also there are DEEP selections into wonderful dishes and flavors. A MUST.
Lunch Special. Good food. A little pricey for lunch but still decent priced for the Garden District. Service was excellent. Bathrooms were a mess!
Great place to eat! The service was fantastic. My hubby never eats out, he is extremely picky. He loved it! Best chinese I've had since I moved here a year ago.
