OK, Popeyes is not the place you go when you need 5 star service. But if you want a bangin' chicken sammie, this is the place to go. Fair warning though - you will judge all other chicken sandwiches against this one.
When restaurants make chicken sandwiches for $15, this is what they're trying to copy. All the other fast food places selling chicken sandwiches, this is what they wish they could make. This is the place that started the craze, and one bite in you'll see why.
And do yourself a favor - get the spicy version. It's not particularly spicy, but this is the flavor train you want to be on... CHEW CHEW!! Pro tip - throw the red beans and rice in the combo for next level flavor baby!
So that's it - get over there, bring some patience because this fast food is not particularly fast, but this will raise the bar for chicken sammies in your life, I guarantee!

Went on a Friday night after a long and tiring work week. The drive-thru line was long, but the staff was on it! They kept the line moving and, more importantly, they got our order the right. The young lady working the window was really sweet and professional.

Popeye’s has the best spicy chicken sandwich, hands down. The blackened chicken is not nearly as good.

Great chicken sandwich, but the workers seemed to be in a bad mood. But then can you blame them, what with dealing with the public.

This was a delivery option. Food came promptly and hot. Unfortunately they didn’t do a quick check that the order was complete/everything was in the bag. It wasn’t. The 3-piece combo should have had an order of coleslaw. Everything would have been perfect if not for the missing side.

Me & bae went today & got a 10 piece special; 2 large sides & bout 20 hard a$$ biscuits (exaggeration)🤢.
Anyway the line was so long it ran pass Rallys & Dominoes.
Took forever to finally get the opportunity to place our order & we made it just in time because we were the last to be served (not sure if everyone behind us were turned away or not.
Not many places were open due to the Mardi Gras parades around.
The meal was great; I enjoyed the chicken & for our sides we both chose red beans.
As for the biscuits 😦 not so much.
Wasn't too bad besides that.
