Irene’s is easily the best Italian restaurant in the greater New Orleans area...and beyond. The food, service, and ambiance are always on point! They really have it down to an exact science. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, or you’re just craving a fabulous meal, Irene’s is the place for you.

10 stars!! We were told Irene's would be a "must see" for our honeymoon and it absolutely lived up to the hype!! We had heard it can be a little tricky to get a reservation so we called the minute they opened (at 5:30)and booked a table for 9:30pm. We followed the glorious aroma wafting down St. Pierre from Royal St. and were immediately welcomed in the most warm and friendly manner. We had a cute little table in the dining room-- very cozy and romantic-- and were immediately presented with a tasty plate of warm bruschetta. Our waiter, Scott, was extremely helpful with recommendation when we couldn't make up our minds. We settled on escargot for a starter, followed by shrimp and crab pappardelle and ribeye steak. Every bite was an absolute pleasure-- perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. When we told Scott that we were on our honeymoon at the end of the meal he presented us with creme brûlée and champagne, along with a hand-written list of some other wonderful bars and restaurants to add to our itinerary that we never would've known about. What I'm saying is that Irene's Cuisine will be one of the best meals of your life, but also instantly makes you feel like part of the family without any of the stuffiness of other restaurants of its caliber. An absolutely incredible experience that we look forward to repeating on our anniversary. Thank you to all the people at Irene's that made our night so special and memorable!!

“Returning to Irene’s for the second time, exactly one year after our initial visit, was like rediscovering a cherished memory and finding it even more delightful than before. The ambiance, as always, was warmly inviting, a true embodiment of New Orleans’ charm. Each dish we tried seemed to surpass our fond recollections from the previous year, with flavors that were both familiar and excitingly enhanced. The service, impeccable and attentive, added to the overall exceptional experience. Irene’s not only met but exceeded our already high expectations, cementing its place as a must-visit destination in NOLA.”

We went to Irene's to celebrate my birthday and everything w was amazing. We started with cocktails, I had the Bella. For starters we tried crab gratin, and ravioli. For the mail course I had Duck St. Philip, with sweet potato mash. It was the best meal I've ever had, and our server Claudia was the best!! There was a live piano player, which added to the wonderful ambiance. For dessert we had the bread pudding. It was an excellent experience!! I can't recommend it enough, and when you make a reservation, ask for Claudia.

Irene’s was recommended to us by a few people before visiting NOLA for the first time. To say that it was delicious would be an understatement. The sweet potato bisque was the best soup I’ve ever had. Also, Brandon was a fantastic waiter!

Best restaurant in New Orleans! We have been 3 times now and each time, our experience is better! We love Dan, such a fun guy who provides too tier service. The food is incredible, always fresh and flavorful. Hands down the best cheesecake I have ever had! Must visit in New Orleans!

The duck was remarkable, delicious and delectable! Creole seafood pasta was a big hit for my son. I cannot believe this, but the meatball appetizer was better than my homemade meatballs! For those over 21, try the Spaghetti Western cocktail! Top notch service. Will hit it up again when back in the Big Easy!

A staple in New Orleans and rightfully so! The Watermelon salad was so refreshing on a hot NOLA day. The Duck St. Philip is incredibly tasty and crispy. The Meuniere Amandine was simply divine, extremely creamy and delicious. The star of the show was dessert. For a city known for their bread pudding and banana foster, combining the two should be heaven and Irene's Banana Foster Bread Puddings more than delivers. Truly exceptional and highly recommend.

Excellent. Also had the whole fish. Both entries were super huge. Reasonably priced. Service was outstanding. I think our attendant name was Dan. Everyone was super personable and friendly!

Amazing bartender that allowed us to learn about a liqueur that we hadn't tried before. Very knowledgeable waitress. We were on the way to Panama City Beach from our home in Austin, Texas. We were unexpectedly able to leave a day early for our trip so we did not have reservations but the host got us on the list and got us in about 20 minutes earlier than quoted. This dinner experience was the perfect kick off for our Panama City Beach trip. I can't say enough about the amazing resort Villa we stay at: Captain's Quarters PCB.

Amazing food! Went with my partner for his birthday. Waiter barely acknowledged us and kept talking to the people at the table next us. Didn’t bus our table for awhile and we were late for our next event. Definitely still worth the visit - delicious crusted fish and lasagna!
