Extraordinary, we spent our Christmas here and it was beautiful- the lights are so pretty and the architecture is too. Definitely a must if you're visiting NOLA, quick walk to the French Quarter.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The staff is super friendly. Our room wasn't the best (11016) the dresser drawer had some issues and the carpet behind the love seat was bunched up. But other than that the room was aesthetically pleasing. Being that this is the holiday season, it was very packed. The location is great and everything is within walking distance. All the restaurants are inside the hotel which makes it convenient to get something to eat. I can say that it was an experience that my wife and I are happy we shared.

I went with a friend for the lighting of the Christmas Trees and the entire lobby. It was jammed packed as usual. I haven't been here for this spectacular event in years and I must say , it is breathtaking. If you come to New Orleans or even if you are local, walking through the lobby only is a must do! The effervescent Santa Claus made his annual appearance and photo ops were available. The annual glass of Champagne was given out to toast the CHRISTmas Season! The music in one of the bars was magnificent, the piano player has an anointed voice and plays the piano like no other!!!

This was the best experience I've had in a hotel. The room was really awesome. Two separate hvac systems. If I had one thing to say....its the fact that the receptionist lady didn't tell us about the snack will auto charge you if you pick them up for too long. Even if you didn't eat or drink it, you will still be charged. The door men are very pleasant and will hold the door for you. Everyone was super awesome and I would recommend this place if you are to visit. It's close to a lot of good places and activities. It can be a little expensive, but I would say that it's worth the experience.

Beautiful hotel. If I come back to New Orleans, would definitely stay here again. Visited at the beginning of December, and the Christmas lights were already up. Everything felt so glamorous. It was absolutely beautiful. It did get packed in the lobby, lounge, and restaurant at night though. With people trying to take pictures and enjoy holiday festivities. The front desk lady was so welcoming. She was so excited for my bf and I to be there that it hyped us up! We also got upgraded to a bedroom suite, which is very nice. Comes with two restrooms (1 full, 1 half) and mini bar. The hotel also had a lounge, restaurant, cafe, spa, and gift shop. The lounge was very cool vibes. The gift shop had so many fun items. Got a T-shirt and hat. Love them! The cafe had great options for breakfast. Fruit partfait was fresh. Biscuits and gravy were delicious!

The lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas but it was always loud and crowded. Come at night for the best picture opps. I was there while there was a conference, then a wedding, then some tea parties so it stays busy. The room (king standard) had a unique configuration. I loved the walk-in closet. I also appreciated that the mini bar had an area where I could refrigerate my personal items. Bathroom was large but very little counter space. The shower also had a tub. Overall a nice place but I'd rather stay somewhere less expensive and probably newer.

I didn't stay at this hotel but I stopped in for a drink and to see the holiday decorations. Did not disappoint and I'm sure the rooms and service would be amazing for guests as it was very pleasant for the time I was there. Wish I had more to say but my time here was brief. Still, I can definitely recommend you consider this location if your taking a trip.

Beautiful, spacious, and clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and the robes were soft and warm. Housekeeping was efficient and thorough. The staff does a lovely turndown service and even filled our ice bucket for us while we were out to dinner. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Also, there is a little Cafe in the lobby that is perfect for a quick morning pick me up. The Sazerac bar was one of the nest stops of our whole trip, the drinks were made perfectly, and the atmosphere was amazing. Do not miss it! While this hotel is not in the French quarter, it was only 2 blocks away. The best part of that, though, is that cabs and ride shares can pick you up right in front of it. This is a perfect romantic get away spot.

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, the service was impeccable. We were able to get early check-in with the help of the wonderful Sita the front desk receptionist, who was able to find an available room for us. Sita was so friendly and helpful, and really made our stay at The Roosevelt joyous. We were in New Orleans for a long weekend and this hotel was beyond our expectations from it's friendliness of staff, decor of hotel, ambience, comfortable beds, food in Fountain Lounge was delicious, everything was wonderful! I look forward to staying again for my birthday in March 2024.

Immersed in the enchanting ambiance of a Christmas wonderland, elegantly adorned for the occasion, we joyously attended a wedding hosted at the hotel. The entire experience proved to be nothing short of phenomenal, as the combination of soul-stirring live music, delectable culinary delights, and meticulously crafted decor contributed to a truly magical celebration.
