Great location on Magazine St with authentic Mexican cuisine. Chips & salsa bottomless & drinks a plenty. Cool look with the bar modeled from an old vw van. Window seating for people watching & great service. Highly recommend.

The Chili Poblano Relleno was so good! Tacos was average. Salsa was good. Margarita is on point.

There are some surprising good Mexican food options in NOLA and Rosa Mezcal is no exception. I had 2 Tacos - Pastor & Asada - with grilled veggies & charro beans. The tacos were tasty & authentic and the charro beans were bursting with flavor. Also the decor is cool (Urban Mexican).

Chose this place on a whim, and was not disappointed. We started with their trio of bean dip, queso, and guac, and ordered the Chicken Fajitas and Carnitas Enchiladas for our entrees. The flavors are bright and fresh, with an equal emphasis on presentation AND portion. Would have given five stars, except they serve Pepsi products. This is New Orleans...we're Coca Cola people.

We stumbled on this place and SO happy we did!! It was amazing...best place we ate at here in New Orleans! I was hesitant being from Texas...hands down most delicious margaritas and tacos!

Rosa Mezcal has a bright, teal & pink exterior and a Mexican wrestling interior decor. I ordered the Apache (steak soft tacos on blue corn shells, with melted cheese and sliced mushrooms; a big green pepper, bean soup, and Mexican rice). Chips and red salsa were served as a free appetizer. This meal was just absolutely delicious. $14.95, plus tax & tip. RJT

We've been here for my spouse birthday and many other occasion, I live this place. Better than any other Mexican restaurants I've tried in New Orleans. Atmosphere, food, staff, everything is perfect for a casual and delicious dinner. Try it!!!

The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Once the bar opens, this will definitely be a new favorite happy hour spot. Until then, the lunch special is delicious and just the right size!
