Cajun Joe's Seafood

Hole in the Wall restaurant worth ordering from. We were in the area after visiting the Katrina Memorial Museum (Also worth the visit!!!). The Garlic Butter wings were insanely full of flavor & crispy. The combination fried rice was a special kind of good, not overloaded with soy sauce, Just "Damn Good"!!!!!! The Yakamein was also delicious. Don't sleep on this place. Only down side is nowhere to sit so you gotta get it to go, but still DELICIOUS!!

Recently learned about YakaMein - so had to give it a try! It’s a must try! Visited Cajun Joe’s Seafood for a late lunch. Ordered the YakaMein and the Shrimp Platter. Both were plentiful, affordable and enjoyable. Local lore has the YakaMein also known as ‘Old Sober’. Depending on your night before - this may just be the cure. The place is busy and I can understand why. Nothing more comforting during these times, then good old comfort food. If you find yourself in the area, better yet, make a point of visiting and enjoy this place. You’ll also be able to order a tasty adult beverage to enjoy with your meal. Service was friendly. Speedy.

I ordered the two fish nine shrimp platter and must say it was more food than expected. Very filling and delicious. Bring an appetite, you'll need it, and the continuous flow of customers will show it's a popular location. The owner even just expanded the parking a little too accommodate the amount of traffic the comes in. I'll definitely be remembering this place for future travels to the area.
