Hands down my favorite place to get tacos. Food, drinks and service are always top notch. The white chorizo queso is to die for!!! I visit this place weekly!!

Great spot with a cool bar in the shape of a truck. Beer was well priced and they supplied fresh tortilla and sauce before the meal.

Honestly, quite impressed and surprised by our visit, especially compared to where our experience was a couple years ago when they first opened. Chips and salsa made in house and well done. The fajitas were quite good with healthy portions and fully-cooked vegetables (not the near-raw kind many places get away with). Everything seemed much better than familiar New Orleans establishments like Velvet Cactus. The music was quite a vibe and the interior has been renovated and is very well done. Overall felt like one of the many great family-owned Tex-Mex restaurants you’d find in TX but with a more refined, magazine-suiting interior.

The restaurant is so cute and well decorated and the food and margs were phenomenal. I wish Mexican food was this good in Denver because I'd be a regular! I went on a Thursday when happy hour is all day long at 4:30/5pm and the place was empty. La Carreta is absolutely worth the stop, especially if you're craving good margs, chips and salsa, or just really good food. Plus, the happy hour $5 margs is insane! Highly recommend, this is not a place to snooze on or miss. The service was also amazing. And did I mention the restaurant is so cute? I love all the pink and the flowers everywhere. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town.

Awesome little place!! We stopped here before a concert and needed to be in and out. Food was great, service was great and didn't have Bourbon St prices

Great place to stop and get a drink on Magazine Street! They were nice enough to charge my phone while I had a signature margarita. Happy hour bogo deals and food looked good. I just had the nachos and salsa since I already ate and had a frozen Swirl 🍹. I would definitely go back.

This place is cute! There was a nice variety of vegetarian and pescetarian options. We also enjoyed the frozen watermelon margarita. This is a great restaurant to visit after shopping at all the boutique stores on Magazine Street.

Asked if they could make me chiliquilles!!!! Let me say this was the best chiliquilles I've ever had. I'll be making trip from Kansas city down here mainly for this food!!!! Keep up the great service and the tasty food. A+++

Fun atmosphere with live music! They were having a Happy Hour all day special with $5 margs and beers. I got the chimichanga meal and it was delicious and came out very fast. As a Texan, New Orleans transplant I was excited for some decent Tex Mex.
