The Buffet At Harrah's

Nice selection of food. Only one drawback is that for example their red beans and a couple of other sides have meat in it. And they need to check on the stations more. For example at the salad station bacon was in the eggs and the diced chicken. Not good for people with dietary restrictions or vegetarians

We had a good dinner here. Would recommend was very reasonable pricing for buffet. Ms Fay was extremely helpful. She quickly put some roast beef on the grill so I could have some well done. Would recommend if you're not in the mood for anything particular and want to have multiple options for entrees and desserts.

The Buffet at Harrah's is without a doubt filled with diverse food selections. Some things are tasty and seasoned, others, not so much. The food sections are always clean and tidy. The staff whom works the varying sections are polite. My favorite section is the smoked meats and salad bar. Simple, yet perfection. I do not believe the food quality at The Buffet at Harrah's is worthy of the price, but the atmosphere is very warm and engaging.

Harrah's New Orleans is a casino located in New Orleans, Louisiana, near the foot of Canal Street a block away from the Mississippi River. It is a 115,000 sq ft (10,700 m2) casino with approximately 2,100 slot machines, over 90 table games and a poker room.[1] There are several places to eat ranging from buffet style to fine dining. Since its opening in 1999 Harrah's has been renting nearby hotel rooms to accommodate its guests; currently, the newly renovated 202-room Wyndham Riverfront Hotel is providing such accommodations. In order to avoid leasing rooms, the casino opened its own 27-story hotel tower with 450 rooms across the street from the casino on September 21, 2006, just days ahead of the New Orleans Saints return to the Louisiana Superdome. It is the only land-based private casino with table games in the state by Louisiana law (there are other casinos in the state with their gambling facilities on floating boats and horse racing racinos with slot machines). It is referred to in state statute as "the official gaming establishment"

The buffet at Harrah's was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and none of the food was cold. I tried several different items and they did not disappoint, the boiled Crabs and boiled shrimp were seasoned to perfection.. only in New Orleans. The price went up a little, it's now $31 for the buffet but you can still eat all you want.

Went on a Sunday for dinner and what an improvement from previous years. Good selection of food. If you love seafood this is the buffet for you. Shrimp a couple of ways, two types of crab, crawfish, & Cajun catfish. Of course, they had the standard fare of non seafood. One unique item was the made to order pasta station! You got to try it! The food was tasty and much better than previous years. The only reason for four star is a couple of should be hot items were cold.
