The bartender, manager, and waitstaff were all so much fun to talk to, and the drinks were so good! Po Boys (shrimp and catfish) were both absolutely delicious, the gumbo was very good as well... but the main reason for this review is for the Cinful chicken wings. The wings were so unbelievably good that 5 stars is not enough. I was licking my fingers to get just one more taste!! We met the cook, Jack Dennis, and not only did he create this amazingly CINFUL dry rub, he came out to talk to us and is such a nice guy. Overall wonderful experience, and officially on my MUST visit when I am in town.

We were told of Toula's by a local who said the food, beer and atmosphere were incredible. They did not disappoint !!

Great food, great staff! We've stopped in twice this trip. The Spicy Etouffee was delicious, the white beans are a must try! If you're in the mood for a po boy, you can't go wrong with a blackened shrimp po boy here! Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Prompt service. Certainly worth stopping by!

I absolutely loved the white beans with shrimp. Their gumbo is some of the best in the city. Staff is amazingly welcoming. Small but cozy location. Definitely worth a try. I'll be headed back first chance i get. I want to try it all.

Laid back and quiet. Very good food and reasonable prices. Excellent service. Brie was our waitress and she was GREAT! We went three times in two days.

Hidden gem! Food was fantastic and the service & conversations with their staff was even better! Update: after eating our way around the French Quarter for 5 days, my wife and I picked our fav spot, and it was Toula's. Keith does such a fabulous job with their menu that I truly wish we could hang around longer to try everything on the menu. On top of that, Glen is a wonderful human being and provided us with a memorable glimpse of just how lovely the locals can be when you take time to hang out and get to know them better.

Went there with my wife during a laundromat conference. It was great. Actually does not do it justice. The spinach dip appetizer was loved by my wife (a spinach lover). She also liked my shrimp remoulade which I loved. The fried catfish was great and seasoned well. It was so good that I really didn’t want to share with my wife. Fortunately her fried shrimp was as good as my catfish so we shared with each other. We have no opinion of any deserts since we were too stuffed to even consider ordering any. We don’t leave until Monday morning so we will definitely go back before we leave New Orleans.

Great experience. My wife and I happened upon Toula's while wandering about looking for a place to eat and I can't say enough good things about it. The service was fast and friendly and the food....oh the food was great and the prices were reasonable. I had a shrimp and tasso special and my wife has the shrimp po' boy, both were excellent and had an abundance of shrimp. We couldn't finish either dish. I highly recommend stopping here when you're in New Orleans.

Had a pleasant experience here a few days ago. We couldn't find a sports bar that didn't have at least an hour wait after the Saints game and we stumbled upon Toula's. They had football on the big screen but they were nice enough to change it to another game that we wanted to watch. This place is pretty small (maybe 7 tables) and some bar seats. Staff is super friendly. I had the shrimp po boy with fries and I really enjoyed it. My friend had the blackened catfish and said it was very good as well. I would recommend giving it a try.
