I stopped in for a drink and was very pleasantly surprised! I couldn't decide between a margarita or sangria, so my server Robert said I could get both! Whaat? It was delicious! They are very clear about their living wage charge, and I think it's a good idea all around. Very glad I stopped by!

I can't speak to this restaurant's "authenticity" as I'm not Mexican, but the food was MIGHTY TASTY! Worth noting is that the 22% living wage charge means that tipping isn't required here.

We sat on the covered front porch. It was perfect weather for it. Our server, Ryan, was very attentive and patient. We ordered the queso and guacamole. Both were fabulous. Fresh guacamole with just the right about if heat and a bit of zing from the lime juice. The chips were fried corn tortillas that they use for Street Tacos. AWESOME! Sorry no pics. We were so hungry i forgot to take them. Three if us got the stacked enchiladas. And one had the fish tacos. While I didn't taste the tacos, the enchiladas were in point!!!! I can't belive I've never been here before. I know I will go back. Side note; there is a 22% gratuity added to all checks. It is split among all 7 employees. Since I usually tip 20% anyway, I'm okay with that. Unfortunately, the server told us they were getting stiffed a lot since the pandemic. That is horrible!!!! Don't be Stiff! Tip your servers.

This unsuspecting little Mexican restaurant has delicious food!! I stopped here for lunch with friends while we were out shopping. The corn was super yummy and the fish tacos were some of the best I’ve had! The popsicles are made in house and they have both alcoholic and non alcoholic versions. They’re the perfect treat at the end of a delicious meal! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the air conditioning wasn’t working very well and August in New Orleans is HOT! Our server was very nice as well. Definitely recommend!

Outstanding service and great food. The queso with peppers is an excellent choice for an appetizer. The chicken tacos were great also. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.

Everything tastes fresh and flavorable! We had the queso for appetizer which was good. I had the "Egg roll" which is like have fried rice in a burrito. Very good and huge ( took half home). My wife had the tacos which she loved. She also had the house margarita which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the sangria and that was the only negative. Not too flavorful, maybe new batch? Great patio for dining. Will definitely go back.

I loved this place! It was exactly what I was looking for: a place with a patio and good atmosphere with most importantly a good drink! I had the mojito and shared the loaded guacamole. I loved both. The mojito was so good, I even got one to go. And the straws they use there are pasta straws. Extra points for being green!!

Ok y'all.... This place is pretty much awesome. I highly recommend doing the salsa trio. You can legit make a whole meal out of it and it's super cheap during happy hour. Pictured here are the veggie taco (currently cauliflower although the veggie is seasonal so may be different), the Elotes, and the beans and rice. That taco was great, and the elotes was beast mode. It was happy hour so at $2.50 you can't really beat a Tecate to finish things off. Also, we went during a slow period but the service was really solid. She was totally attentive without hovering. I'm definitely adding this to my regular visit list.
