Negative reviews are shady... this place is awesome!!! Bring your Big Easy attitude and you will have NO issues. Sit on the back patio, order a few $3 tacos and local tequila to step away from Boubon for a moment. You will love it!!!
Great place, great service. The server rocked it even though he told me it was his first week. The captain of wait staff came by and related to our home town and carried on a friendly conversation before he told us he was the captain of wait staff.

Great Service and Tacos. The two waitstaff who we interacted with bent over backwards to be helpful.
The margarita was average. The beer selection was good. The tacos were fantastic white corn chicken tacos.
Price was super reasonable as it was Tuesday special.

Fun, nice atmosphere, great salsa and fajitas, our waiter was fun and kept our drinks full. One thing is, they were out of some things because management was being changed, which I think didn't look so good.

Best yucca fries ever. The 400-block of Bourbon may be my least favorite block on my least favorite street in all the Quarter. Sandwiched between strip clubs and adult shops that would make Amsterdam look tame, I was afraid a neighbor might drive by and misunderstand where I was going.
My buddy Joel and I were meeting there for lunch. The loud dance music and the beer sign setting didn't do anything to raise my low expectations, though seeing a cat lounging by my feet was the first good sign.
My steak taco ($4.50) was fresh and very good. But even better were my loaded Yucca fries -- stacked high, like golden lincoln logs. They were outstanding -- crisp but tender inside, thick, covered in good white cheese, big chunks of thick-cut bacon, chives, fresh diced tomato and more. Some of my favorite fries of all-time.
Fantastic Food. The food at Rita's is fantastic and well priced. My husband and I have gone multiple times. The bartenders are great, especially Matt. Unfortunately we had a terrible waitress, I think her name was Laura. She was really rude to us. But the food and drinks made up for that experience.
Awesome new place. I stumbled across this place during French Quarter Fest. Stopped in for a margarita and a quick bite. Food was good and the margarita even better. I love the huge selection of tequila. Definitely a nice alternative to the NOISE of karaoke bands on Bourbon St.
Great service and a huge variety. The music was good and the staff was friendly. The woman's restroom was running low on supplies I told a bartender and everything was fully stocked immediately.
With Clase Azul Resposado to sip, an amazing back patio, and multiple televisions, this is one of Bourbon Streets hidden gems!
Good service. Haven't tasted the food. The 1800 tequila daiquiri is strong. DJ turns it up after 11pm. The selection of tequilas is good. The patio area out back past the dance floor is a good spot to go chill and maybe get something to eat. There is an additional bar back there also.
This place has food?!?! Went in here while vacationing in New Orleans in July. Packed out front, packed inside. The alcoholic slushees sneak up on you. If you want to stay cool, head towards the middle and the back patio, there are more fans, and a smaller bar in the back. Awesome music. Friendly folks, had a really nice time
I underestimated this place by a long shot. The food was great and worth the wait. I love to see food cook so freshly. Only complaint is that the chips were doused in salt and I had to keep wiping done the chips top remove the excess salt. The salsa itself was pretty awesome. I had the special that day: 2 meat pies and a side of rice
We visited during a freakish cold snap that gripped New Orleans. We sat "up back" to stay warmer on account of the front door being propped open to entice potential customers. The ambiance was friendly and down to earth. The building is obviously old as one wall is original battered brick. Tolerable rap music played fairly loud, but we could still hear each other without shouting. Several TV monitors had a basketball game on. Seemed like the place was under new management or staff or something because they were still tweaking their menu. My husband and I each had a margarita that was smooth and tasty. He enjoyed a chicken quesadilla, and I had two ground beef tacos. We were also served a basket of fresh tortilla chips with really good salsa to munch on while we waited for our order. The food was good and very reasonably priced. We especially commend the staff for being friendly and attentive. It was a fun experience and we would go back without hesitation.
Best tacos I've had in NOLA along with live music. Will definitely be here every Tuesday for taco Tuesday! Had an awesome courtyard with outdoor TV AND drink specials. Not something you would expect to be on bourdon street. Will definitely recommend this place even as a local
Food was awesome. Tilapia was moist. Yucca fries and poppers had wonderful flavor. Only problem was food came out a little slow but our waitress kept our sodas and iced teas constantly full.
Great experience! The best quacamole I’ve ever had! And I’ve had alot of Guac! Great tacos and great service! The owner, Mathew, personally greeted us and constantly made sure we were completed satisfied! Also has a back patio! We went in the middle of the day on a Monday.. just wish we were there long enough to hang there that night, which I’m sure would have been a great time! Thanks for everything! Have already made it known to friends that’s the place to go!
Great atmosphere, more upscale than most joints on Bourbon. Good mix of clientele, old, young, college, professional. Food was awesome and we highly recommend the pulled pork sliders, crawfish quesadillas and chicken wings. Matt, the owner is amazing and goes out of his way t make sure you have a great time. Places change over time and like any good spirit, Rita's gets better the more it's around. Cheers!!
