Wow Cafe - American Grill & Wingery

We sat at our table nearly 10 minutes before our server stopped by to take our drink order. Then we sat another 20 minutes before he remembered we were there. We placed our food order, reminded him of our drinks. Service improved after that, food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was vibrant.

OK. You done went to the casino. Done gambled done got drunk, done got tired of being at home. However, you hungry, want something quick, no hassle, just simple before you go to the west Bank to gamble at boomtown on the west Bank. This is your sport before you go. Sit down, chill, drink, then go gamble. Right a cross the street from harrahs. Good wings, awesome service, sweet bartender, fill up and go. Wow cafe is where its at. BTW, local here.

Overall this was a very good experience. Ordered through ubereats and so I was able to track the progress, and they got the food out quickly. We ordered 20 boneless wings and an order of waffle fries. The portion of the wings was really big and tasted great. Just enough sauce and all white meat. The fries on the other hand were HORRIBLE! I asked for extra crispy and when I got them they were cold and sitting in oil. What made me really mad was the portion. For $4.50 I expect more than 10 cold soggy fries. I do hope this was a fluke, but from reading other reviews I dont think it is. I'm giving them 4 stars only because of the chicken. It was excellent.

Craft burger is delicious- the option to add avocado/guac is genius (I wish it didn’t have peppers in it though, pure guac is best)! It was approx. $14 for the burger and fries. Very vibrant little restaurant attached to a DT Hotel. Other in my party had the chicken breast, veggies and fresh mashed potatoes which they absolutely loved. Staff is friendly and very attentive.

I was neglect in not reviewing this restaurant as soon as I ate there. I was there in Oct 2017 twice in the same week. Both times were breakfast and upon recommendation from a friend had the shrimp and fried grits. I had never had grits and I love this dish. Think of a fried potato pattie but made with grits. The sauce is to die for and the shrimp and sausage are scrumptious.
