Hands down …one of the most eclectic and unique restaurants that I’ve experienced to date! The atmosphere was so fun, and just so full of life ..that I didn’t want to give up our table! 🎶🎵The food was amazing, the service was great.. especially in consideration of how busy it was. Having guests sign the book that their check arrives in was such a cool touch !
Jack Rose🌹.. you have an old soul’s vibe about you..Thank you for the experience 🖤

This place is a sight to see. You must RSVP if you want to dine here. The atmosphere and service is amazing. I would say my party of 5 was disappointed because we booked 2 months in advanced and they seated us at a table that comfortably sits only 4 people. They did not accommodate to 5 people and pulled up a chair. Due to limited tables and space, they could not appropriately move us. Overall the food was a bit smaller in portion size and a bit salty. The drinks were pretty good and strong. They had unique cocktails. Overall, it was a good experience and nice place to visit in New Orleans.
Despite not having a reservation, they allowed us to sit on the terrace, which was actually very quiet, breezy, and pleasant. Full dinner service was still provided. The left on red cocktail is a must if you like gin and a slightly masculine drink, with a feminine flair. The short rib was tasty and cooked well, with mushrooms and onions. Nice portion, perfect and not overwhelming. The dessert - don’t squeeze me - was…interesting. At first I wasn’t sure, but after a few bites, I decided I liked it. It’s a very lemony dessert, but not too sweet. It was fresh and citrusy and a good palate cleanser.
Very eclectic and quirky vibe. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the pork belly and the short rib. The mile high pie is delightful. The gumbo is a bit spicy, but good.
I’ve been to Jack Rose a handful of times now. The decor is really awesome. The vibe is so fun in the dining rooms.
The food was pretty excellent. The arancini, short rib, and tiramisu were really next level. I felt like I was getting an experience that was worth the menu prices.
The service seemed short handed like so many places lately. Some things were forgotten and the wrong item brought.
I’d definitely return.
A very unique place for celebrations or to bring guests from out of town because of the decor and food. Our favorite entree was the squid ink pasta with scallops. The bisque we ordered tasted good for us but might be too pungent for some. Our desert tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and came with a sparkler. All of their cocktails were delicious as well. After dinner, go upstairs to Hot Tin, which has a great view of the city skyline.
We went for a bachelorette a couple of weeks ago and everything about this place is a 10/10. The food was amazing the flavors were so fresh and clean on the palette. My favorite was the chicken parm that was bone in fried chicken !! So juicy and delicious. Great place to take photos and videos!!
Sumptuous surroundings, superior service and sensational food. I already fell in love with the two bars on property at the Pontchartrain Hotel on a previous visit to NOLA, and the restaurant made me fall even harder. Our waiter, Nicky, was pleasant and accommodating. Our entree came out wrong yet was corrected fairly quickly… but the manager comped the dish for the inconvenience. I mean, really? It’s rare to find service like that these days. Recommended for the food and décor. Must-go for the high quality service.
Took my partner here for a romantic birthday dinner and BOY DID IT NOT DISAPPOINT! From start to finish this was easily one of the greatest dining experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy.
The attention to detail knowing that it was a birthday from the notes on the reservation was a wonderful touch. The food was absolutely incredible so we had to order almost everything! The cocktails, wine, and champagne selection was out of this world.
The upscale environment was beautifully decorated but does not come across as uppity in personality.
I’m sure the whole staff is outstanding but if you get the chance to have Ashley as your server, you’re in for a treat. She definitely made the dining experience one to remember!
Can’t wait to come back again soon!

A must! Jack Rose is an experience. The interior is so beautiful! The artwork, the plant life, the colors- so inspiring. The drinks were lovely, well thought-out cocktail menu and nice presentation. Most importantly, the food was delicious! We had the calamari and kale Caesar to start. Best calamari I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of crunchiness and bite, the sauces it is served with are perfect. For main course we enjoyed the shrimp and grits off of the brunch menu and the lamb hash off of the special Easter menu. The shrimp and grits won out- absolutely delectable. I highly recommend Jack Rose for the experience. The hotel it is located also us a lovely interior with a great Bayou Bar inside, which I think shares the bar with Jack Rose. Cheers!
