First time eating here despite living in the area all my life. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had, if not the best. If you're in the area, definitely make it a priority to eat here. Be sure to ask for Bob Scully. He was amazing!
I love this restaurant... It is my favorite Steak House.. The Dry Aged Steaks are Phenomenal... I have had the pleasure of eating at a few of the top steak houses in the country and I always find myself taking a trip to New Orleans just to eat here... After all this is the place that taught Ruth Chris how to butcher and prepare steaks when they decided to start serving steaks when there was only one location on Broad and Orleans in New Orleans and the place was still named Chris's before they became a chain...Steaks have a distinct dry age flavor... Very affordable... Side dishes are even more affordable... You will never be disappointed here... Melt in the mouth tenderness on the steaks..we always eat family style order different cuts and enjoying them together.... I love this place and hopes it never changes... Small family owned spot...
Wonderful steak at a really, really modest price compared to other steakhouses. Tender and cooked precisely to medium rare per my request. The sides and appetizers could be more interesting, but I was content with the Lyonnaise potatoes.
This place reminds me of an old school Chicago mom and pop steakhouse. Super low key with incredible steaks. I have seen people complain about the size of the sides but one side was perfect for two people for us and really, don't you want room for dessert? The dessert and cocktails there were tasty as well. The highlight though was that my filet was cooked perfectly medium rare and was melt in your mouth delicious! The manager was also constantly visible and working alongside her employees to make everybody's experience as great as possible. Will for sure be visiting again.
Love this place! Steaks are excellent and the sides are great. Definitely get the onion rings too! On this visit, we celebrated my Mom's 86th birthday! Reserve a private booth in advance for a romantic rendezvous...
Great service, atmosphere, and food. If you're in the market for a decently priced, yet very good quality steak in New Orleans, stop in right here. The ribeye and filet were both excellent cuts of meat, and prepared exactly as requested. The sides, while not huge portions, are very good. 10 different potatoe sides! Unfortunately we didn't get to try any of the drinks, but they ALL looked amazing. We had a very professional waiter that took very good care of us. They're currently checking Vax cards, or covid tests, so keep that in mind, and be ready to show your papers.
I ate at CCSH last night with a large party. They had blocked off the entire second floor for us and had everything ready for us before we arrived. The staff was on point with a group of over twenty. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and potatoes. The steak came out perfectly with a warm red center. It was amazing! The cheese covered potatoes only added another level of deliciousness. Highly recommend!
I had a gr8t meal. My service was superb. Timely. I would keep the restrooms clean. Tell the floor staff to smile at everyone. Remember, it should be a fun, exciting, and rewarding experience at Crescent.
Amazing dinner. I had the 36 oz porterhouse and it was absolutely PERFECT.
And at $72 for a steak this this size, it is an absolute steal of a bargain. No way you are finding a porterhouse for two like this anywhere else for under $120 minimum.

Best Steak I have had in a long time! Every bite was delicious, well seasoned and well cooked - still sizzling when served from the way they cook in butter! YUM!
