What a lovely pub. Eclectic decor. I loved the hanging mugs. It's a small and cozy bar.

Love this place! The inside is actually decorated very authentically like a local, traditional English pub, and the whole place has a very relaxed & friendly vibe. Only thing that’s not authentically English about it is how friendly & approachable everyone is, haha! So easy to get chatting to the locals and feel part of the crowd. Highly recommended!

Popped by for the novelty of finding an English pub while on vacation. It had a good amount of drinks on draught found at home, great selection of crisps, it smelt like a pub at home, had the decor of an old pub (beer jugs, prints, seating etc.) and a nice atmosphere. 10/10 effort for the replication of a pub inside👌🏻. The landlord was friendly, nice to chat to. Worth a visit on the ferry to Algiers if you are passing by.

Local pub in Algiers. At the moment one if only few in the neighbourhood of the Algiers ferry. Great selection of beers, very friendly barkeeper, nice English entourage. We enjoyed some drinks and good conversations on a very warm day (09-21-23). Popped in for one drink, left after a few hours... Highly recommended by me and my wife for both locals and visitors.

My first time at the Crown and Anchor English Pub and I found it a delightful experience. Warm and friendly much like the pubs in England that I have visited. They have a large beer selection, wine and mixed cocktails. This is a very casual spot for locals and a great bar. They do not have food every day but a man does come by and cooks at times. A really great spot.

Great little pub just a 10 min ferry ride from the French Quarter. Once off the ferry, it’s only a couple blocks walk. It’s very small and can be bc a bit hot during the summer, but it adds to the mystique. Locals sells food, etc. outside on the weekends. You enter through a tardis/police box which is great.

Stopped here really quick before hopping back on the ferry to head back Over to the riverfront. Was a cool little bar, had a nice old fashion feel to it with a ton of old fashion games. Had mostly every drink you may be looking for. Service was nice and quick. Check the place out and let me know what you think. Cheers to the 5-Star gem!

A reason to come to Algiers Point. Cozy, quaint bar inhabited by mostly locals, but welcoming to the mature & chill out-of-towners. Good selection of beers, and a fun destination if you're a Doctor Who fan.

Hey - I have yet to experience a true English pub, but when I do, I hope it’ll have the same charm & atmosphere as this place. Perhaps it’s not a coincidence that you step through a TARDIS to enter this place. Without a doubt, there’s a beer, scotch and bourbon for every taste. Looking to play darts and/or a series of other games, you’ll be covered here. The bartender is engaging, and insightful - which makes the conversation great. If you are planning to eat here, bring some takeaway, there is no kitchen.
