Effervescence

Wonderful place. There's good service, and then there is great service. Effervescence is great service. Three of us went here, and each got a different bubbly drink. I had the Love You Cherry Much, a rye whiskey-based bubbly cocktail. Delicious. A delightful surprise was the house popcorn (gratis) full of cheesy, spicy goodness. There are nibbles, which we plan to try on our next visit.

I went to a wedding & reception held at this establishment a few days ago and was blown away in every measure by which one can assess an experience in the field of hospitality. I’m just going to start off with the service, because it was phenomenal. Many years ago I actually managed a wine bar so my standards might be set higher than most…but those standards weren’t just met, they were handily exceeded by the friendly, thoughtful and always helpful servers, bartenders, chefs, and owner. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention what a beautiful restaurant this was (and the back yard is so perfect for smaller special events!). Last but not least - food was amazing, and the wines were superb!

My partner and I travel annually to NOLA because of places like Effervescence. We did brunch for two and ordered only 1 caviar brunch and then ordered off the small plate menu. We enjoyed both of our tasting flights from the bubbles menu and our glass of the Hebrart. Onto the food- we both would trust anything that came out of their kitchen. From the stunning caviar presentation, a quintessential New Orleans scallop dish, to incredible desserts- everything was truly first class. Finally, the award for the great experience might belong to our cocktail creator- the cardamom cocktail was incredible and one of our favorite ever brunch cocktails. So wonderfully grateful to be able to experience our brunch- thank you again for a fantastic day!

A friendly and welcoming place, whether you want a cocktail, wine or a full meal. Spacious with beautiful decor. Effervescence is a classy place to meet friends or to gather for Sunday Brunch. Their Caviar and Bagel brunch is spectacular and enough to split with a friend. The service is quick, cheerful and very good. They also have a great wine list as well as a full cocktail bar. Effervescence offers a different concept than many other establishments in the French Quarter, in a very good way. I would highly recommend stopping in for a beverage or more when in the French Quarter.

Oh what a time, oh what a time…My business partner and I decided to celebrate a milestone in our work so I suggested Effervescence because I love their Insta. It did not disappoint. The customer service was A1. If you love sparkling wine then this restaurant is a MUST. My only regret is going on a Friday night instead of the Sunday brunch because the food choices (while delicious) were limited. Final note, they warmed our brie before serving it and I fell in love!!!
