Great little spot in the N.O. Vegan friendly indeed. Everything I had was delicious, hot and prepared with presentation in mind. If you are in the area or planning to visiting the are, make this one of your eating destinations, you won’t regret it!

The vegan ceviche had a nice bright acidity. The vegetarian rico was filling but my favorite item was probably the pao de queijo, they were hot and fresh and so cheesy.

This is a nice place!... I'm leaving 4 stars only because, in my humble opinion, the plates aré small. However, they were really delicious!... On the other hand, the cocktails were not good.... I won't recommend those! The atmosphere and the service were great! I'll only recomend this place if you're craving some Latin American cuisine.

Carmo is a must-visit for vegans visiting New Orleans. Besides delicious foods with local flavor like Rice and Beans with vegan Sausage, their takes on international cuisines are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and drink, and would definitely recommend—especially for mixed groups with vegans and omnis.

This was an unexpected delight. We were looking for a different breakfast place and made a wrong turn. Online it said this was mostly a seafood place and they mentioned a lot of vegan options so I wasn’t sure I’d like the food. But they weren’t busy and they were open for breakfast. I’m so glad we ate there. The food was excellent and it had such a charming, casual, colorful vibe. Service was great too. I got an awesome Peruvian pork sandwich and fresh tropical juice. My partner had tapioca crepes. Such a serendipitous find for a breakfast

This place has absolutely delicious fusion food. Their vegan meat is super delicious and flavorful (got the Rico). HIGHLY recommend the Vietnamese flat bread (pictured); it has sweet/tangy sauce on it, peanuts, cilantro, glass noodles, salad mix and other things (can get it with either chicken or tofu).

Delicious food, great menu. I got the fermented tea leaf salad, great flavor and texture. The banquette breads were also crispy and delicious! The chef came out to talk to someone at the table with dietary restrictions just to make sure she could eat, and ended up making a special custom salad for her .

I was so excited about this menu that I ordered two entrees. The vegan and vegetarian selections were particularly bright and full of flavor. I specifically had the Esmeralda salad and the vegan ceviche. The desserts are also available in v/veg/gf without sacrifice in creativity and taste. The atmosphere is that you'd expect of a niche cafe with beautiful and eclectic art (much from Haiti) and transitional seating spaces that offer differing experiences from a bustling front entrance to a bright and open bar area with high ceilings and decorative wall art.

Service was friendly and attentive. Loved the artwork and the open air vibe to the bar. The food was delicious. My wife and I are both gluten free and they had a lot of options. My dish Rico was delicious. The slow-cooked pork was incredible. My wife enjoyed the curry with chicken, which was very good as well. The cheesecake had a burnt top like flan and a creamy texture. Would definitely return for a healthy, delicious meal!
