This place is one of those stumble in type places: cold beer and nice bar tenders. Typical of the French Quarter - EXCEPT the food was amazingly good. I wanted the steak but ended up with just eating the pulled pork nachos. It was so much food for my wife and me that I never got to order the steak! Try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

The servers here were outstanding. They were personable, kind and jovial. I really appreciate that in my restaurant experience. I had loaded nachos and customized drink to go in the skull glowing cup. We also got mozzarella sticks and they were way better than I expected because they seemed like they were actually homemade. Dined with my dog outside in the back. Relaxed environment and crowd. The food was fresh and delicious

Great small bar with friendly bartenders and reasonable prices. They have several TVs in the main bar room making it a great place to watch sports. There is also a back patio with outdoor seating, two TVs and a small bar to accommodate the outdoor crowd. I will definitely come back to catch a football game again.

This place was great! We meandered in as a group of drunk tourists and they were very accommodating. The drinks and food were something notable for us. Better than standard bar food. We plan to go back here on future trips. Back area where we could sit outside with a separate bar. Bartender that night was very nice to our group. I'm sure she has to deal with drunk tourists all the time, but I would've never known. Thank you for a great end-of-the-evening spot!! We will 100% be back in the future.

Definitely better than I expected! I got the burger and it was char grilled to perfection! My husband got the steak, 20oz, and it was amazing as well. I hate we found this spot on the night before we leave, because this is a must go to spot in New Orleans.

What can I say - I like to come here for the $14 steak and stuffed potato! It’s consistent and a great value. It also consistently smells awful here but some things never change on Lower Decatur. Some of the servers are awesome and so sweet and a couple may try to overcharge you so just be aware.

Gumbo is authentic and best we've had. Great music and atmosphere. Joani was awesome. The steak was superb! Will definitely be back! Thx for a perfect meal.

In A Nutshell: -Turtle Bay is open 24/7. -I came here to enjoy some local Abita beer along w/ some chicken wings. -The wings came out nice & hot! -As a matter of fact they were so good that I influenced some other people sitting at the bar to ordering some after they smelled mine. Overall, the bar wasn't too crazy packed, very slow in the evening when I visited which was perfect.

Service took a bit to warm up to us, but once they did, they were super friendly. Around midnight, got the huge Ribeye, $20 for 20 oz with some toast and half a baked potato, just can't beat that. Also got some hot Asian sauce wings, really good. Fried mushrooms were excellent, as well.
