They have amazing food. Grilled shimp po-boy and fried shrimp po-boys are a must try. The crowd usually includes students studying at Tulane and Loyola Universities when the school is on going.

We had a GREAT sports experience here. Cooters is exactly what it is meant to be - a really good sports bar where you can go with a group and everyone can watch their own game on a well kept TV placed in appropriate places. The food and bar are counter service, which makes it efficient for staff and guests. Many great food choices to suit most diets and taste great. And the beer selection is off the charts! I'm a true belgian fan and had so many to choose from. I highly recommend this spot! Oh yeah... and it's 21 and over only... what a wonderful thing.

Update, back again Dec 5th, Oysters are Great, and will be for the next few months, go get u-Sum. This was my second trip in two weeks on Tuesdays. It's half priced Oysters. Their good size for tourists and locals alike. Their called St Bernard, Dunno. They are salty and in two/three weeks should be healthy/fat. They are served clean and no shells, Great job. Highly recommend. Oyster special, 3 til midnight. Oh countless beers. Try the patio, sit inside or out front.

One of my favorite spots in uptown. Large rowdy bar with food and lots of beer selections. It's been a tradition as of late to go every year to watch the Michigan-Michigan State game. I often remember arriving but leaving is a different story. Thank God it's on the trolley line, but those late night wait times can be brutal. I've had a couple different things from the cafe, they've all been good. School was still out for break this time so it wasn't crazy but it's one of those places without being off putting to adults. Usually one of the last bar I'll hit for the night, even if I'm coming from marigny.

Amazing half price oysters! Everything was self-service so it was kinda confusing at first, but overall I had an awesome time here.

Food: pub grub but VERY good. Oysters on the raw are the primary reason to go, but wings (dry rub?) were notable. And the fries were unique - in a good way. Service: it’s a place where you order at the counter/bar and then pick it up when ready but everyone was super professional, and friendly. Atmosphere: think authentic sports bar on steroids Drinks: countless beer selection . . . But do they clean their beer lines? Definitely worth a visit.

Legit dive bar with good food and killer oysters. The same local oysters you'll get at the nicest restaurants in the city. Friendly service, fun atmosphere.

The best beer and whiskey selection in the Riverbend. I have always enjoyed this place its a very casual and laid back experience. There are multiple screens for event watching and a pool table. The best thing of all is they have Framboise.
