The Rib Room At The Omni Royal Orleans

My husband and I were in New Orleans for our anniversary and made reservations at The Rib Room the first night and since we were staying at the Omni Hotel, it only made sense. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and has a very historical look which I happen to love, not to mention the food was fantastic! The entire staff was extremely professional, helpful, and on point during our entire visit. The manager actually stopped by our table to ensure that everything was going well. My husband and I had a really good conversation with him, and he made us feel right at home and appreciated. The Rib Room was a very enjoyable and delicious experience for us, and we will definitely be back!!

The food was excellent. I always get the Cuban sandwich or the club sandwich. Both excellent. The service was phenomenal. Felicia was very accommodating and on point. She was very attentive and catered to our every need with no complaint. The atmosphere was very busy and trendy but at the same time boomeresque. I learn a lot from my elders when done here. Also, they have the best light beer in the face of this planet: Amstel Light.

We began our culinary journey with the Fritos Mistos board, which was expertly cooked, though I felt it could've used a touch more salt and seasoning. I delved into the New Orleans Seafood Gumbo, a rich and authentic delight, while my wife opted for the Classic Rib Room Salad, elevated by a delicious house-made blue cheese dressing. The Slow Roasted Prime Rib was the star of the evening – tender, flavorful, and perfectly executed. To our pleasant surprise, our server presented us with a complimentary cake to celebrate our anniversary – a testament to their attention to detail, having noted it from my reservation. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Highly recommended for those seeking a special dining experience.

My husband and I were staying at the Omni and decided to have dinner at the Rib Room. I ordered a steak, because I love steak, but I wasn't expecting the steak to have a lot of seasoning on it. I took one bite and knew I couldn't continue to eat it. I wasn't going to say anything but my husband decided to tell the waitress. She was immediately apologetic and said to pick something else. Then the chef himself came out to inquire what he did wrong. I said he did nothing wrong it's just my taste buds. He said dessert was on the house and he apologized again. I enjoyed my second pick and the dessert was divine. I highly recommend the Rib Room if you are in New Orleans.
