We wanted authentic New Orleans food with great atmosphere. THIS is it!

Really enjoyed our meal here. The gumbo, po-boy's and eggplant were fantastic. And I don't know where fried bell pepper rings have been my whole life, but WOW, I'm sure glad they're in it now!

Met a local friend here at his suggestion. Good local neighborhood joint well outside the touristy area. We both got the red bans & rice. I got sausage while he got fried chicken with his. Tasted great and hit the spot, and nice hanging out in a neighborhood spot after eating most meals in fancy places in the French Quarter during my visit. Overall enjoyed the casual atmosphere.

The food was very good, but Heather’s service was amazing! She was not only on point with spore and accuracy, but she sensed that a personal situation had arisen in out party, and she swooped with kindness, compassion, and a delicious dessert recommendation! Heather’s demeanor and superior people skills made a bad situation much better. We will be back, and we’ll definitely try to sit at Heather’s table!

The shrimp poboy was on point and the service was excellent. A much better value, service, and product than the poboy I had in the french quarter. I am glad I stopped at this place.

When I visit NOLA I have made this neighborhood restaurant a regular stop. I enjoy everything about it. Food, staff and the cold 🍺. All of the food we ordered was delicious. Go for the grilled shrimp, Po Boy and gumbo. You will not be disappointed. Parking is available in a lot and the street!
Shout out to Nicola for providing us fantastic service!

It has been a while since we've been here. Heather was an awesome 😎 server and took very good care of us. Food was good and couldn't have asked for anything more

In A Nutshell:
-I came by Frankie & Johnny's for their highly rated crawfish, but just missed out by a week.
-That was a slight bummer, but you adapt & overcome.
-So after looking at their menu, I ordered some Grilled Shrimp w/ Potato Salad.
-That turned out to be very tasty, I enjoyed the flavorful shrimp & the potato salad was really good.
Overall, this is a neighborhood restaurant in Uptown NOLA where you can enjoy good food & have drinks at their bar.

Good time in the Big Easy! If you want a fun, somewhat locals joint to eat-I highly recommend! Spread out on a picnic table outside, have some nice frosty beers, and indulge in a good Low Country Boil! 🦐
