Me and my boyfriend decided to have our first lunch in NOLA at Lil' Dizzy's. Our experience was pretty good. We found parking pretty easily, which was a nice change of pace after driving for hours on end the previous night looking for parking. When we arrived, the restaurant was PACKED. Granted, it was a very small restaurant so no big deal, but because it was packed we had to sit outside. Unfortunately it was raining pretty badily, so sometimes the wind would carry the rain to us while we were sitting trying to enjoy our food. But the food definitely made up for it. The food was amazing, honestly we had both agreed that it was the best fried chicken we've ever had. We had decided to get the dark meat chicken meal(thigh and leg) and I will not regret it. I decided on mac n cheese for my side and WOW is all i have to say. The added some spice to it and the crust on the mac n cheese made it mouth watering. Just typing this review makes me want to go back! My boyfriend says that he loved the jerseys on the wall the most, because it have off the best NOLA vibes if you're a Saints fan. And even though it was raining, the view was still pretty great!

Not only delicious but also surprisingly affordable. The smothered pork, fried chicken, Po boys, green beans, dirty rice, and southern greens showcased a perfect blend of spices, creating a memorable experience that won't break the bank. What truly stood out was the excellent customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit, demonstrating attentiveness and genuine hospitality. From recommendations to accommodating special requests, their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout. Truly humble people. I highly recommend this spot for those seeking not only mouthwatering Creole dishes but also a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere. It's a gem where affordability meets exceptional taste and service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my food! The gumbo and fried chicken were standouts. So flavorful!! So delicious! A Louisiana cultural jewel⚜️. My to-go service after lunchtime was fast and friendly. Street parking is tight, but I found a spot. I am bringing my sister when I return.

Remarkable experience from start to finish! The owner welcomed us in and told us where we would be sitting. Southern Hospitality is top tier and is what you will get when you first open the door. We scoped out this spot and heard a few recommendations from some of the locals/ride share drivers. The food is wonderful and tasted delicious. They have some angels in the back doing the lords works because the food was magnificent! My girlfriend and I both decided to indulge in the fish and shrimp and it was wonderful! I also ordered the gumbo and it was soothing to my soul. We also selected Da Treme! Get it & thank me later. Our new go-to spot when we choose to make that trip down to NOLA! Make an effort to stop by and support a great business - just make sure to pull up when they first open - lines start to form quick after they open.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It was suggested by an employee of the hotel I was staying in. It is black owned and it felt like home from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the owner, her personality and energy are just delightful. We ordered sat outside and the food was brought to us. This food was everything you want when you go to New Orleans!!! Whew the bread pudding the infused lemonades. It was all just so damn good!!! There were 4 of us and we all loved everything that we ordered. Support this business!!!

Every member of the staff makes you feel at home. Everyone checks in to ensure you’re enjoying your food. We arrived as soon as they opened at 11:00am on a Friday. Every table was filled by 11:15am so it seems to be a popular place. A decent mix of tourist and locals. Food is 10/10 in taste and portion. prices are reasonable.
