lunch was super lovely, great options from fish to small plates to appetizers. the side of carrots was really saucy and sweet, the fish of the day was well cooked and crispy, plentiful side of cauliflower. fries are more of the battery kind and very salty. overall, worth it and price higher side.

Such a delicious and warm meal. We are visiting from FL and brought our 5 month old with us to lunch. We made a Google reservation and our service was excellent. We definitely felt welcomed and invited. I had the grilled chicken dish and it was excellent! My husband ordered the fish of the day and it was okay. The vegetable flavors were strange and really complex. We ordered drinks, a small plate of fried oysters and the black forest cake. Dessert was excellent, oysters excellent, and the drinks were tasty. I recommend the cosmo punch. We definitely would return. There are not many photos of everything else because the food was devoured. This spot is an indulgent lunch spot as we spent more than $150 for two. All the items were worth it.

Get the duck! This may have been the best meal I have ever had. I have eaten all around the world everything was perfect here. We will be back someday. Also note the experience here was much better then other high end restaurants in the city we tried.

The last time I was here was 9 years ago, but I’ve always remembered how delicious the food was and what a great experience I had here. So here we are 9 years later, I go back with high expectations and they are absolutely exceeded. The meal, the drinks, the service were all incredible. We tried almost every small plate, the spaghetti and the ceviche are my absolute favorite, my husband loved the spaghetti and the lamb skewer. We got the founder and the duck confit entrees and oh my goodness, they were both so incredible but the duck! I want to eat it every day, so tender, melts in your mouth and just so full of flavor. I came back from my trip and I’ve talked about this meal more than anything else we did! Can’t wait to go back, definitely won’t be 9 years this time.

I'd heard about this place from several friends. I was also compelled by my friend Amanda to get the housemade spaghetti. "Life-changing" she called it. Herbsaint did not disappoint. I started off with the spaghetti, which was fantastic. The cream sauce was not overwhelming, and cracking the poached egg made it all the more delicious. I had the lamb skewers, which were mildly spicy but nicely balanced with the yogurt and pickles. Bread was perfect, as was the Sazerac. The service was impeccable. All in all, a perfect lunch. Looking forward to next time for the oysters and beef short ribs.

If you are looking for a well-rounded dining experience you can't go wrong with Herbsaint. Went there for a solo dinner and was able to grab a seat at the bar. The dining room is intimate without being unapproachable. Meaning you could go for a date, meal with the family or just a solo meal and all would work. While the gumbo was solid, the Muscovy Duck Confit stole the show. The duck was flavorful and was arguably one of the best dishes I have had in New Orleans.

A New Orleans classic for many reasons. Great atmosphere and a perfect date night spot. Service is top notch, polished, and attentive. The food is amazing; fried green tomatoes and lamb meatballs are a favorite. If you’ve never been here, what are you waiting for?

We had an amazing time here. Our food was delicious. Bartenders did an amazing job with our drinks, and they have a good liquor selection. The service was outstanding. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting my New Orleans.

We ended up here after arriving at Chat Noir and it was closed for the night. Our lyft driver recommended it as a great option, so we went. The space is cozy and was packed, which is always a good sign. The host and waitstaff were so friendly and helpful since we needed vegan options. The chef was able to make a vegan plate based on ingredients on hand for the day and we were able to get the little gem salad without the dairy. While everyone was helpful and lovely, the food was a bit lackluster. The little gem salads - one regular and one vegan - were a bit bland - the dressing needed a bit more acid. The fish of the day was a halibut that was well seasoned and flavorful, but the avocado puree and cucumber & pepper salad didn’t elevate the fish, so I just ate the fish. The vegan plate included sauteed kale and mushrooms on top of the avocado mousse and cucumber pepper salad. The kale was so sour, like they doused it lemon juice that we ended up using the olive oil that came with the bread and a spoon of white wine from my glass to add some fat and sweetness to it. Because we were hungry and vegan options are few and far in between we ate it. It was unfortunate because the place is gorgeous, the staff (especially Autumn) was so delightful, and some of the food was yummy. A for effort to help out a vegan, but probably should just keep it simple.

I went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it was ok i was expecting more but it was good overall .This is an interesting place, there are a few options in the menu that ate very good but we order a special of the day and we had to send it back. So my perception of this place is ok but not excellent. Their highlights are excellent bread, great homemade pasta, short rib and lamb dishes. Also nothing was offer as a courtesy for my wife’s birthday. In a city like New Orleans we were expecting more.m
