If you make it to New Orleans you have to come here..
Great Place to Eat…VERRY CLEAN..
Staff very nice to everyone that comes in door.. Plenty of food..
I haven’t seen them run out of anything the times I was there..
We love Cajun Seafood it’s always our first or second meal when we visit New Orleans. What’s not to love about boiled seafood and it gets even better when you can have a side of fried rice. Wife enjoyed the turkey necks as well. Location is kind of sketchy, it’s definitely a hood spot but it’s always entertaining to say the least.
Visited Cajun Seafood in New Orleans after a recommendation from our tour guide earlier in the day and it did not disappoint. We indulged in the crawfish and shrimp, both perfectly seasoned. We also added sausage, a turkey wing, and pig's feet to our feast. The highlight, however, was the gumbo which was simply amazing. Admittedly, we may have over-ordered, but when the food is this good, it's hard to resist. If you're in the area, you must give it a try.
Everything is delicious and cheap. It's a little far, but it's worth going. It's a bit dangerous, so you might want to avoid it at night.we had crabs, crayfish, shrimp po-boy, gumbo with rice, beer
The food was spectacular. I visited this restaurant twice while in Louisiana. Seafood was clean and well seasoned. I had fried shrimp 🍤 and snow crab legs. 🦀 Pigs 🐖 foot, turkey necks, and necklines did not disappoint. The line is long, but we'll worry the wait. Apparently, there are the locations. We parked under a bridge, which was a little sketchy during my first visit, but not a problem the second time, and I was alone. I met a couple who was back for their third day for more phenomenal food. Whenever I visit Big Easy, this will be one of my go-to places to chow down.
I’m pretty much a crawfish addict at this point and Cajun Seafood has THE best! So good that I came back a second time in 4 days right before we got back on the road to Texas. Coming to this place will be one of the best decisions you make in terms of food. The seasoning was extremely on point and spicy!
The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient at getting through the crowds of people who come here.
The restaurant has a good amount of seating, great lighting and cool artwork on the walls.
Cajun Seafood will forever be both my first and last stop on my NOLA vacations!
I live down the block and I’ve been here a few times (twice in one week). It’s easily a 5 star but I’ll leave it 4-star for now.
Good prices. Foods solid. The fried rice is surprisingly solid. The first time was great and the second time was just fine. The Hot sausage poboy is average. The catfish platter is pretty good. The oyster platter is solid ($16/platter). Shrimp pasta ($12 for a large container). It’s heavy in cream so it’s good but you should order a salad/fruit from somewhere else.
Corn good (4 for $2.75 ish). Mushroom delicious. Lots of salt/msg so I had to drink plenty of water after. They also sell Hubig pies, nice bonus. Easily a 4-5 star.
There’s usually panhandlers outside (1 per shift). It’s out of their power but they are fine — they don’t bother much. Overall, enjoy.
When I’m out I like to shy away from the tourist spots and get in the mix of the regulars and this place was recommended to me. The fried turkey legs were dumb tough but I was able to try the Nawlins staple that Yakamien and it’s was very flavorful. The corn of the cob was good and but I would not recommend the teriyaki crab…i thought it was like some Cajun crab so that was my mistake but this place is clearly a staple in the community because the lines get long very quick
Low frills, Cajun style seafood, with boil by the piece or pound, depending on your desires. Some hot food, too. Crawfish, potatoes and turkey necks are awesome. Corn too spicy for me, sausage was ok like the shrimp pasta. Get the garlic butter, totally worth it. Guy helping with plates and gloves is key at the table, tip him well.
My flight ✈️ landed a few hours ago ago and I was completely famished. I knew I wanted some crawfish 🦞, but from where? I saw this place online and the valet from my hotel sad it was pretty good. When I got there I noticed that the menu online needed to be updated because the prices weren’t the same. The Atmosphere is clean and presentable, but the food presentation I would give the 3.5 stars ⭐️. The cashier Marvin was amazing 🤩 5 stars ✨ for him all day. He was pleasant, friendly, and bright smile. I wasn’t sold on this place, but he eased my mind with his mannerism. Thank you Marvin for hospitality. If you could have been duplicate to work throughout the front of the house this would have been a 5 star ⭐️ review. Your co-worker, he could use hospitality training or answer questions in his head first before speaking. Presentation is everything!!!
I do recommend Cajun Seafood and I would try it again.
