I ordered charcuterie to pick up and upon arrival decided to try the ham and Brie sandwich. It was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I’d prefer a softer bread, but the Brie was so creamy. At home when I opened the charcuterie box it was so beautifully arranged, full, and so delicious. We were so wowed by it I forgot to take pictures. But I’ll be back. Oh yes. Great service too!!!

Fantastic cheese selection!!! I have been a cheesemonger and the staff was so knowledgeable, kind and had great recommendations. They have a wonderful verity of cheeses and I got a little of everything I wanted! I also got lunch and the sandwiches were wonderful! I didn't get a picture but the portions are very good. The Hook's Cheddar Sandwich is huge and so filling! I can't wait to go back and get more cheese and pick up a sandwich! The parking is not fantastic but there is a parking lot close by for a bank that is easy to get a spot and street parking. Lots of out door seating, was kind of cold (it's November) but also had indoor seating available.

All their salads are Delicious. I had the Cantal salad (pictured) and my friend had the Manchego salad and their soup of the day was a creamy asparagus. So good! Very delicious and a great spot for patio dining on a beautiful day. The staff was friendly and there was accessible street parking. Highly recommend for a first date or a friend outing! Go get some. You won’t regret it!

Best sandwich I’ve eaten in a while. I had the Gruyère with prosciutto at the recommendation of the staff and it was delicious. Perfectly melted cheese and toasted bread. The caramelized onions were packed with flavor as well! The staff was friendly and welcoming and didn’t scoff at me asking for advice on what to order. Don’t sleep on this place.

An entire restaurant revolving around cheese? Um, yes please. Everything we had was delicious. The Mac and cheese and the turkey and cheddar sandwich were amazing but the real star was of course the charcuterie board. Just beautiful presented with delicious cheeses that the lovely cheese monger helped me select. Will definitely be back for my cheese fix.

Outside of Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Monaco, Cannes, and a few other cities in France, only in New Orleans could you find a place that could transform a ham and cheese sandwich into a gourmet experience. St. James is an extraordinary little sandwich 🥪 shop and I just love its gastronomic metamorphoses. Pricey, for sure, but everything they serve their is AAA+. Don't go there for "atmosphere" because there is none. Just go there for excellent food and condiments.

We ordered the 7 item charcuterie tray, the chocolate bark, olives & pickled veggies. When we ordered, we were asked how many meats & cheeses we wanted & if there were any cheeses we loved/hated. The plates were made custom for us & were AWESOME. The cheese selection was 👩‍🍳💋 they also sell canned & refrigerated items & of course, cheese & cured meats. Outdoor seating in a courtyard plus some street side seating.....that part is actually weird but you can tell they were trying to make room for the demand. Go, take a friend & then go back.
