Pizza Plus 1 (grand Ave.)

The pizza is really good taste fantastic, i think it’s the best pizza place in fair haven hands down. I just started ordering last week and made my second order today. I order at night. And the guy that answer the phone seems really nice I seen people complaining about customer service. But I so far have been getting good customer service. Call to order a pepperoni calzone and a shrimp pizza and the guy put me on hold twice and at the end told me to go online and order there as will be easier for him and me and hung up the phone on me I callback and did not pick up… just lost a 15 years client with that actitud. Remember this is not the only pizza in New Haven area…….. As per your response he didn’t give me any suggestions, he just was not paying attention or was in a rush the he didn’t want to take my order and that is the first time pizza plus told me to go on line to order…he was very rude by hanging the phone on me and when I call back didn’t pick up. I saw other responses below from you and always it’s an excuse after your bad service. Your personal should take customer service classes. And for your information, it was easier for me call another pizzeria instead of ordering online for yours, but was a pleasure for me taking my sweet time writing this review as now I know you as a manager or owner have the same actitud as your employees.

Each time that I have ordered from Pizza Plus (Grand Avenue) the food has been delicious and reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and always ready to help, and the food is delivered hot and in a timely manner by courteous delivery people. Yesterday for example, I ordered 4 drinks, but only 2 of them were delivered. I called the restaurant to explain, and they not only had the driver promptly return with the drinks, but to my surprise also included a complimentary bowl of delicious strawberry ice cream as a way to apologize for the inconvenience. Kudos to Pizza Plus for their thoughtfulness and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

This establishment is rude! I called 10 mins prior to closing time to order a milkshake only for pick up. A guy answered the phone without a greeting and said “We’re closed for the night!” I attempted to ask about the real closing time and if it was possible to get the milkshake, he hung up on me. One star! Which sucks because the milkshakes are decent. Pizza plus 👎🏾

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. I CALLED TO PLACE AN ORDER. HAVE NEVER ORDERED FROM HERE BEFORE. I ASKED MAYBE 3 QUESTIONS AND WAS TOLD TO PLACE MY ORDER ONLINE BEFORE BEING HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I CALLED BACK…. WITHOUT GIVING ME A CHANCE TO SPEAK HE SAID TO PLACE MY ORDER ONLINE AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE AGAIN. I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO EVEN TRY TO CALL HERE. EXTREMELY RUDE SMH

I went to pizza plus on Grand Ave on 2/27, I was in the mood for pizza. Normally the owner is there and she is polite, but this time there was a Hispanic young man behind the counter. I placed my order and was told they only had 1 slice, he said 15 mins for another pizza to be made, I said I would wait. When I came back to get my order, he handed it to me and he forgot I had not paid for the order yet. When I got to my car I checked the pizza, one slice wasn’t hot and the other was burnt. I went back and said the pizza was burnt, he then proceeded to talk me it wasn’t burnt it was well done. Who orders a well done pizza, the crust had black burnt spots all over it and was so hard, and the bottom was black. He wouldnt fix the problem just gave me my money back, I will never go back to that place. They don’t value their customers. I ended up ordering from the Chinese restaurant right next to them.
