We went to actually go to Sally’s apizza but we had to wait and I was hungry. So we decided to stroll down the street and stumbled upon this place. All I have to say is I am glad Sally’s had a line because I would have never tried this place.
The staff was so friendly, attentive and welcoming.
The food was unbelievable. I do not have one bad thing or a critique to give.
Next time I’m in new haven we will make this place our first and only stop.
I didn’t take a pic of the pizza that we ordered but it’s definitely a new favorite of mine. Wood fired brick oven!
Our family loved this place! Great pizza and bread. Everything came out fresh, hot, and so quick! The waiter was amazing! So happy we didn’t have to wait in a long line for great pizza! Definitely try the orange soda!
A group of 11 went for dinner. Service was quick and efficient. Seated promptly because we went early before the real dinner rush.
We ordered a lot of food. Food was delicious. Love the thin crust pizza, yummy pasta, and tasty appetizers.
Highly recommended!
Zeneli is an authentic Italian restaurant to visit on Wooster street. We split the arugula salad, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, and broccoli rabe and sausage pie between three for lunch and still took some home. We will definitely visit again when in the area and would like to try some of the dinner entrees.

This is the newest addition to the Wooster Street pizzerias. The outdoor seating area was clean and the service was excellent. The pizza, however, was a little on the greasy side as you might see from the pictures. But, the ingredients were fresh and the pizza very tasty. We will give it another shot at some point.
All fresh and authentic Napoletana pizza. Please note, it's not New Haven style, nor are they trying to be. The bothers are friendly and accommodating hosts which makes for a true dining experience. Finish off with an Italian expresso or cappuccino and you'll be satisfied all day.
My Albanian friend invited me to New Haven to eat some real Albanian pizza cuisine. I was skeptical with Sally‘s across the street and Frank Pepe‘s but boy am I surprised. The pizzas are delicious. There’s a great atmosphere and there’s even outside seating with heaters if you so choose to eat outside. Get here early, the tables fill up quick. As you can see, we devoured those pizzas! Thanks for the great experience. I recommend you put this place on your must try pizza list! Don’t forget the Nutella pizza and a few espressos for desert! Mangia!
If I could eat pizza everyday I would do it at this restaurant !
It’s the BEST Italian PIZZA I have ever eaten in the US!
The owners are super sweet and very welcoming and they went above and beyond for the service!
We ordered from Starters, entree, desert:
Ricotta de Miele :
excellent toast and cheese (which is made by one of the owners!)
Margherita Verace pizza:
excellent, cooked at perfection and tasty ingredients!
My pizza was ok hot because of the very cold weather outside but the owner brought me an EXCELLENT cappuccino to compensate for that.
Genovese pizza:
excellent, cooked at perfection and tasty ingredients!
Nutella pizza:
Excellent with strawberries! Fresh and tasty’
We also took wine which was good!
I ll ask next time for their recommendation!
Overall it was an EXCELLENT diner really nothing else to say.
Awesome service and cute place to eat dinner or lunch! You can also take out which is great.
It was that good, that people were waiting in line to eat here! And totally worth the wait 😍
