I came here because I saw some pictures of the food online without even realizing that this place is run by and helps refugee women. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful. The staff was very pleasant and I'm delighted to be helping their cause.

We love this little gem of a place! They have great food and the commitment to representing their roots is very clear when you bite into the food! Also do try the desserts and coffee which is super good! At this point I have tried pretty much every item on the menu over multiple visits and we will certainly keep returning! The staff is always very friendly and happy to share information about the great food they make! Always a 5 star experience

Great food and service, great atmosphere. Had the falafel sandwich for lunch. Just visited again and another great experience. I went with four friends and everyone loved their food. Don't forget to try their Baklava for dessert ✔️

I cant say enough about this place. Its owned by refugee women to help other refugee women. It is a community cafe with amazing resources to learn about other cultures and great food too!

Loved this place! Such a comfy and cozy environment with friendly staff. They had a very large variety of vegan options which was great for me BUT I do think they add honey to vegan options so I will probably have to ask next time to avoid it. The apple cardamom jam says vegan but tastes exactly like honey so I'll have to ask more about the ingredients on vegan things next time but The baklava was absolutely amazing and the oat milk latte I still crave! Love that proceeds go to refugee women. Highly recommend!

Besides being a beautiful place with great music, light and decorations, this place has delicious food including a tasty lentils soup, chicken shawarma wrap and the best baklava I’ve ever had! The arabic coffee was incredible too🙌🏻 It was admirable to find out that this restaurant also seeks to enpower and support refugee women👏🏻

The restaurant is a cozy, comfortable environment. It feels like being in someone's home as opposed to a restaurant. To the right of the dining area there seems to be a learning area where students congregate. I was shocked to see a young man, who was getting ready to leave, lift a food covering lid to take a dessert meant for customers. His hands were clearly not clean and he did not wear gloves or a mask. The food was average. Grape leaves and Salata Baladia were dry and/ or lacked flavor. I thought the french fries we're going to be different, but you can get the same quality at Costco's. I was charged a dollar for Pita, which I did not request (only wanted the pita chips that were included). My only favorite was the Tamriyeh. Supporting their mission was the only reason I patronized the restaurant. I do not intend to patron a place where people who are not supposed to be handling food take food and leave.
