Great service our waitress was very polite and nice. The food was pretty good nothing that blew my socks off or anything but I will say the coleslaw was one of the best I've ever had. The view is amazing from the outside seating area. All in all this place is awesome I will definitely return.

This place is awesome. Best fried oysters and clam bellies around. They also have the best hot lobster roll around (roll toasted perfectly and never soggy). I go every chance I get. Great happy hour (50 cent oysters anyone?) and beer selection. The bar is fun; the outdoor seating is great; service is always fantastic. It's right on the water. Great bang for your buck. Portions are good; prices are fine. For once, you're not getting screwed by a seafood place. I'll be back soon. Looking forward to trying the hot crab roll.

Pretty good food and a great view of the water! I will say that the veggies with the lobster roll were subpar. They looked almost microwaved from a frozen bag. Other than that they have good pricing for lobster. Hope this helps!

Honestly disappointing. Started with the calamari. Although it was fresh, the batter was so full of grease and oil it made it undesirable. I guess I was expecting a lighter crisper coating. Then I went with the regular size lobster mac and cheese with fries and wild rice. The total amount of mac and cheese that arrived on the plate may have added up to 1-1.5 cups, total....maybe. There was twice as many fries as mac and cheese, felt like it should have been called a french fry plate with lobster mac and cheese and wild rice for sides. The wild rice was excellent, though. The best word I can think of to describe the food is mediocre. Service was good, but I will not be returning.

Fresh good food. Portions large enough for 2 meals. Unfortunately closing the New Haven location very soon. RI clam chowder, loved the shrimp & calamari wild rice with Sister Sally's coleslaw. Yummy! Will have to go up to Madison or Westbrook locations to get such wonderful food and service. Ivan M was our attentive server.

Update: I go once a month and it’s worth the hour drive. I love the service and location. Can stop by after IKEA! Pictured is the lobster and shrimp casserole, the lobster Mac and cheese, and a pick 3 seafood platter. *Great location. Great lobster roll. Great service!

Summary: A casual dining version of the famous seafood shack in Madison, CT. The seafood is always fresh and seasoned perfectly. The location has great ambiance and great service. Must Try: Triple play fried combination with fried scrod, calamari, and shrimp. Also recommended: Fried scallops and clam strips. Avoid: N/A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Outstanding, worth a special excursion

The location isn't great. Yes, it's on the water, but the view isn't nice, and the location is kind of a dirty failed industrial area. The restaurant itself isn't very aesthetically attractive. The dining room lights are bright white like a conference room. The bar area is much better to sit. Our waiter was super nice and energetic/fidgety and probably on coke. It was only 9pm when we came in, and the hostess complained that they were about to close. This was a Saturday. We also weren't permitted to sit outside, despite the nice weather. Various employees complained loudly that they wanted to leave. We ordered a few large lobster rolls, and they were good, but I've definitly had better. The bread wasn't very flavorful, and the lobster was quite chewy and without any sauce. The accompaniments of onion rings were the BEST I've ever had. Coleslaw is good. The lobster bisque is fantastic, and we were told they make it in house. The staff liked to hang at the bar, and there were sketchy people coming in and out. The bathrooms were clean, and there is lots of parking in the parking lot.
