This place is amazing. The staff helped me plan the most romantic engagement. The food is grown local and tastes like nothing I've ever had. The live music was great and added to the romance. The manager arranged a tour and took us to a private room with champagne and candles. I am so thankful for everything, I will definitely be returning!
This is my husband and my new favorite restaurant. I hate that we’re just now finding out about it... but we are so excited to visit more. The food is so fresh and delicious and well thought out! We visited for brunch and dinner and loved both of the meals. For dinner, I recommend making earlier reservations because since everything is fresh... they understandably ran out of a few main courses by the time we were there at 730. We love this place and will be back very soon.
As a wedding photographer, the Old School is one of my favorite venues in Nashville. It has a great open room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, as well as a groom's room complete with a pool table. The ceremony that I photographed here was in the barn at sunset, and it was perfect. The open patio let in the sunlight, and guests moved to the open yard for cocktail hour and the reception. For couples looking for a slightly rustic yet elegant wedding venue, I would highly recommend checking out the Old School!
Definitely a must visit spot. We did goat yoga with Shenanigoats then brunch at The Old School. The food was creatively showcased with local farm fresh ingredients. The skillet sweet rolls where to die for
Terrific Farm to Table restaurant and music venue, set off the beaten path in a repurposed post-war school. Inventive artisan cocktail list, nice menu, great music the night we were there. Highly recommend.
This place is an amazing find just outside of Nashville! The place is an old elementary school that's been converted into an upscale restaurant and bar. The food was fantastic (I had the chicken and waffles) and the cocktails were incredible. The Old School changes their menu frequently, but they always source from local farmers in the area. It's just a really nice way to support the community while having a nice place to eat and relax.
I'd give it 6 stars if I could; couldn't recommend the Old School enough. No question that I'll be back next time I'm in Nashville!
The food and service was great. We ate late on Sunday, the end of brunch, which means some menu items run out showing how fresh the food really is. Everything we had was fantastic, wonderfully presented and delicious. Knowing the great purpose of the restaurant to employ adults with intellictual disabilities makes me want to frequent more often. Absolutely worth the short drive north of town.
Amazing food. Great service. Beautiful location. Great concept. A must visit. Truly feels like old Nashville. Add this to the top of your list if you haven't been.
Very nice setting in an old gym. They have taken a lot of steps to make this a beautiful space.
Live jazz was being played while we at which was a nice touch.
Not a ton of veggie options but they did work with us to make sure we could make some non veg options into veg.

Creative menu with locally sourced food. Fun music during brunch and really friendly staff. The almond pancakes are delicious!
