Everything about this place was fantastic!!!!! The sit down style, making conversations with people I've never met before, the exciting and vibrant atmosphere. And the FOOD! My goodness the food! It was as if God himself came down and anointed the chefs, then applied an additional anointing to the food. Highly, highly recommend.

Best breakfast I have had in around Nashville. The old town atmosphere, the Christmas decorations are very fancy, the family style all you can eat breakfast was amazing. There are long dining tables, we met a family from Memphis. It was a lovely way to meet folks! Definitely come again when we are in town.

My family spent Thanksgiving in Nashville and decided to hit up Monells for Thanksgiving dinner. Now, it’s first-come, first-serve, so be prepared to wait, but we did our homework and brought beer and wine for all of us to enjoy while waiting. Our wait time for dinner was around 3 hours, which we filled with fun conversation with others, drinking a bit of wine and beer, plus just mingling with the crowd. It was a truly communal experience, getting to meet both locals and tourists like ourselves. When we were finally seated, the food is brought to you in plates and is passed around to each person at the table… which may or may not include just your family/friends, but strangers as well. So, let’s talk food… it was a relatively traditional southern meal, with turkey, fried chicken, ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn pudding, and gravy. The food was delicious, but not everything was as good as I was anticipating. Another challenge was they served us the food quite fast, which normally is a good thing, but it was awkward as we were surrounded by others waiting for their turn to eat. Everyone felt the pressure to hurry up and eat, then get up and go. I was barely able to get pictures of the food as it was that quick. That being said, I get it, it was a crazy busy night with a ton of people waiting for their thanksgiving meal. Here’s the food highlights: the turkey was awesome, juicy and flavorful. The green bean casserole was down right awesome, the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese I could take it or leave it, the corn pudding wasn’t as good as I had hoped. Overall, I would love to visit them again on a non-Thanksgiving dinner as I know they are famous for the delicious southern cooking.

I had never been to this location, but the Mansion branch was fantastic, and this one did not disappoint. We waited for 30 minutes for our party of three. The fried chicken was amazing as always, and I would confidently say it's the best biscuit and gravy in town. However, the ribs weren't great, and the banana pudding didn't taste right. Despite that, I still enjoyed the overall experience.

By far my favorite food in Nashville! I went on the last day of my trip and I would have gone everyday if I discovered it earlier. It is family style which is really cool. The food was delicious and plentiful. They brought us extra of whatever we wanted. Our meal included fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had, this ham that was really amazing, delicious corn pudding, pancakes, delicious fried apples, cheese grits and preserves. The service was great. They didn't rush you, but everything came out very quickly. I honestly can't rave about it enough. Go and there's not a chance you will regret it.

What an experience this place was for us! Breakfast was bountiful. They tell you it's your fault if you leave hungry and that is so true. But, it wasn't just quantity...everything was delicious. It's communal/family-style dining, and we enjoyed talking with the rest of the table. Fried chicken for breakfast!! Service was outstanding. We will definitely include a meal or two here the next time we visit Nashville.

They took family style dining to the next level! We were seated with 6 random people before the feast begun so it was all chatty and made us feel comfortable. They immediately brought fried chicken, pot roast and multiple sides including corn bread, green beans, mashed potatoes, biscuits and gravy for the table to share. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better than we hoped for. The service was top notch too! Everyone was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was all you can eat and it only costs $18 per person! Fantastic dining experience and a must try while in Nashville!!
