This place is amazing. The staff helped me plan the most romantic engagement. The food is grown local and tastes like nothing I've ever had. The live music was great and added to the romance. The manager arranged a tour and took us to a private room with champagne and candles. I am so thankful for everything, I will definitely be returning!

This is my husband and my new favorite restaurant. I hate that we’re just now finding out about it... but we are so excited to visit more. The food is so fresh and delicious and well thought out! We visited for brunch and dinner and loved both of the meals. For dinner, I recommend making earlier reservations because since everything is fresh... they understandably ran out of a few main courses by the time we were there at 730. We love this place and will be back very soon.

As a wedding photographer, the Old School is one of my favorite venues in Nashville. It has a great open room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, as well as a groom's room complete with a pool table. The ceremony that I photographed here was in the barn at sunset, and it was perfect. The open patio let in the sunlight, and guests moved to the open yard for cocktail hour and the reception. For couples looking for a slightly rustic yet elegant wedding venue, I would highly recommend checking out the Old School!

Definitely a must visit spot. We did goat yoga with Shenanigoats then brunch at The Old School. The food was creatively showcased with local farm fresh ingredients. The skillet sweet rolls where to die for

Terrific Farm to Table restaurant and music venue, set off the beaten path in a repurposed post-war school. Inventive artisan cocktail list, nice menu, great music the night we were there. Highly recommend.

This place is an amazing find just outside of Nashville! The place is an old elementary school that's been converted into an upscale restaurant and bar. The food was fantastic (I had the chicken and waffles) and the cocktails were incredible. The Old School changes their menu frequently, but they always source from local farmers in the area. It's just a really nice way to support the community while having a nice place to eat and relax.
I'd give it 6 stars if I could; couldn't recommend the Old School enough. No question that I'll be back next time I'm in Nashville!

The food and service was great. We ate late on Sunday, the end of brunch, which means some menu items run out showing how fresh the food really is. Everything we had was fantastic, wonderfully presented and delicious. Knowing the great purpose of the restaurant to employ adults with intellictual disabilities makes me want to frequent more often. Absolutely worth the short drive north of town.

Amazing food. Great service. Beautiful location. Great concept. A must visit. Truly feels like old Nashville. Add this to the top of your list if you haven't been.

Very nice setting in an old gym. They have taken a lot of steps to make this a beautiful space.
Live jazz was being played while we at which was a nice touch.
Not a ton of veggie options but they did work with us to make sure we could make some non veg options into veg.

Creative menu with locally sourced food. Fun music during brunch and really friendly staff. The almond pancakes are delicious!

This place is really great. I've had brunch and dinner one time each. There are creative dishes with a true farm to table concept. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good wine, beer, liquor menus without being overwhelming. The beer menu in particular is diverse and dependable without all the overly esoteric nonsense you get from many beer menus these days. The food is priced really reasonably. You can come here casual or dress up for a nice dinner. The space is gorgeous. Go check it out!

This place was delicious! The menu has options for bread baskets, meat plates, chocolate truffles and hearty breakfasts. The sausage fritter was quite memorable. The outdoor area is beautiful and if you’re lucky you’ll see a baby goat escaping from the yoga class to greet visitors. The only downside is that with a busy Saturday schedule we had to sit by sweaty bachelorettes recovering from goat yoga on a couch in the dining area.

I love the concept of this place - it's literally an old school. They've given it enough style, though to make it feel updated but keep the feel of an old school house. The bar area is open and has a good vibe. The restaurant is more quaint and community style feel but still private tables. The food tops it all, though. We started with the charcuterie and we weren't let down. My husband got the hot chicken and I got the pork ribs and we both loved it! Service was amazing as well!

Wow. I've only eaten one meal here but it was outstanding. Very interested in going back and trying pretty much everything. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful venue! Staff was attentive and the wedding was top notch. Only thing I would change is the fact that they make you use porta-potties 😬😬

I have been here multiple times now. Maybe 2-3 times for dinner and once for brunch. This place never ceases to have such delicious food.
I really enjoy the creativity of the menu to start. Definitely farm to table and a very creative menu. Some items I wouldn't think to out together, but it always turns out so well. The portion sizes are good. The one time I had steak it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Their pasta is good. Their brunch was probably my favorite in Nashville. I just moved here and I am still exploring, but I've been a lot of places and their brunch is good.
Their staff is always so kind and attentive. They are actually into the restaurant too. If you ask for a recommendation they give you an honest opinion based on their experiences and not the whole "well this is what the last table ordered and I think it's popular".
Parking is good. It's a beautiful little restaurant. Sometimes it can feel a little too quiet, but different areas of the restaurant are a little more lively.
I would definitely recommend this place and it's already one of my go tos.

This “farm to fork” restaurant is amazing. Not only was the service wonderful but the food was out of this world. In addition the entire ambiance of this place is casual and relaxing. I think their focus in on food and making the customer comfortable. After enjoying a nice Sunday brunch we decided that the food and service was so good that we’d go back for dinner. We did and they did not disappoint. Anyone living in Nashville or just visiting should try The Old School.

Amazing brunch. Service was excellent. Enjoyed all of the farmhouse design details.

The Old School Farm to Table is a lovely serene restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing. Our server, Chloe, was very attentive and very professional. The cocktails were well balanced and well made. The food is delicious with a broad range on the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
