We drive an hour just to come here because it's that good! Wait staff is so friendly and the kitchen staff kills it!! Best crab rangoons and sushi ever, and the Hong Kong waffle is to die for!!

Midori was great, particularly the Martinis! The sushi was probably the best I've had in mid-michigan, but still didn't quite reach the quality of the sushi you can get for similar prices on the coasts. That being said, I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area.
Visited this lovely restaurant with a charming patio. Service was friendly and drinks arrived promptly. Sushi orders came in two parts: first three rolls quickly, the rest with a 45-minute delay. Tip: order shareables to minimize waiting. Food presentation was impressive. Overall, a pleasant experience worth trying, just be prepared for potential delays.
The Beef Satay - cooked Medium Rare, would recommend medium at least. It was slightly chewy.
The Crab Rangoon - tasty but the ginger sauce made this dish.
The Drunken Noodles - great presentation, it was delicious! Tip: have the kitchen split this if you’re sharing it.
Couldn't ask for a better sushi spot in the middle of Michigan. Never had a bad bite or a rude server.
Midori Sushi and Martini Lounge is definitely a must! My girlfriend and I went there for our 3 year anniversary and wanted somewhere nice! We found out about Midori while looking online since we love Sushi! Everything we tried here was amazing!! Even the salad! The waitress was very nice too. We ordered a few different things on the menu including some of the martinis (drinks). The beverages were unique, really good flavors! The prices aren’t bad at all. They are actually really decent for the quality of food! We will definitely be coming back!
The food here is AMAZING! The service is top teir. The manager runs a tight ship, and you can tell it's run well. This is the perfect "first date" place to take someone or just to have a really good dinner with someone. The seating is a bit tight, that's the only complaint. I could hear both conversations going on both sides of me. I prefer to order and take it to go. The atmosphere inside is more geared towards people who like cocktails. They have a cocktail/drink menu as well as the regular food menu. My husband doesn't eat sea food, and he loves the food here as well. He enjoyed the Teriyaki bowl, I am a big fan of their Michigan roll. We both love the Potstickers!
My boyfriend took me here for our 2 year anniversary, and needless to say I was impressed. We were seated immediately and were served drinks in a timely manner as well. For the appetizer the potstickers were to die for. Such deep rich flavor and the ponzu sauce was the perfect complement. For dinner I was really looking forward to the scallops, but they ran out so I ordered the steak along with my boyfriend. As soon as I tasted it I forgot all about the scallops it was that delicious. Amazing crust on the meat, and the side potatoes and asparagus were cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. It was my first time at Midori and we will definitely be back soon!
Always the best place to go for Sushi and top shelf drinks. Weaver is a great Chef and does a great job with the menu. My wife and I go at least once a year. We have never had anything we don't like!
Let's talk about class. This restaurant does an amzing job with the standard of food it puts out from the sides to the main dishes. If you love homemade sushi, they hand make every roll, a complete work of art! If you are coming or live in mt pleasant this is definitely a Delicious spot to stop. Also has a full bar with hand made Martinis, they also have hot sake.
Literally the best dinner we’ve ever had!! 🤩 the sushi is so fresh and so delicious! We got: miso soup, dark side roll, lotus roll, teriyaki with tofu, drunken noodles with chicken. Everything was well presented and top notch in quality! Staff was friendly and went above and beyond. We took our dog on the patio and they were very accommodating! Definitely will be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
One of the BEST restaurants in town. I love the food in here and the overall atmosphere of the place. You can never go wrong in ordering anything from the menu, everything taste so good.
My boyfriend got firecracker shrimps, calamari, Kushiyaki stak! And I got chicken lettuce wrap and drunken noodles. And it is so filling that I couldn't eat half of my noodles.
Great staff, great service, high quality food.. and totally worth the price.
