Swig & Swine

Swig & swine does amazingg catering! We had them at our wedding on 10/27/23 and I cannot say enough good things about the food & Leah/Mary. They were such a big help in making sure everything turned out good and that the food was hot and fresh! We have a lot of picky eaters in our family who were very hesitant about not only bbq but buffet style food. Swig and swine blew everyone away! I still have family memebers reaching out about how fantastic the food was! Not only that but they were soooo affordable for the amount of food that we had! Wings, chicken, and pulled pork were amazing but the turkey really surprised everyone with how tender and moist it was! 100% would always use them again for any kind of catering!

This place is really on the ball!!! We had entire team stop in here 2 times last week during Shipyard tourney. They are great at accommodating larger parties, and.... the BBQ is incredible!! I had basically every meat on the menu. Hard to pick just one, but I think the pork belly and dry rub wings came tied for first. Also - Fantastic draft beer selection!

The Family Platter didn’t disappoint and we were stuffed and had leftovers to take home! We didn’t care much for the hash and rice but the beans w/brisket and corn pudding were amazing! The kiddos got banana pudding and they loved it. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive but they seem to work as a team and two other waitresses helped if we needed anything. Will definitely be back whenever we travel to Charleston again.

Oh my goodness! 10 stars! The BBQ was delicious. Some of the best pimento cheese I've had, served with Ritz crackers, as it should be. $5 sandwiches and $3 mimosas before a game? Yes please! Tons of seating, big picnic tables outside for groups. Whoever decided to put this place right outside the ballfield was genius! I would go back just for the restaurant!

Absolutely delicious. The brisket is moist and flavorful. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender. The turkey sandwich is wonderful. And the sides are worth fighting over. The mac and cheese is outstanding but my favorite is the hash and rice. It's delicious like nothing you've ever had. Also, don't miss the pork rind appetizers unless you want the other kids in the playground to make fun of you. Finally, no meal this good is complete without trying the banana pudding. You can't really say you've lived without finishing a perfect meal with a desert that could put you in a diabetic coma. It really doesn't get any better than that.
