Great pizza. Reminds me of what I grew up with in Newark. Grandma pizza with sausage, black olives and extra basil, gnocchi with chicken. GNOCCHI!! So good I think no one should try it because this place will become way to popular.

I came here to get food while at the brewery next door - so convenient! Highly recommend if you're in the area. The pizza was ready in only 20 minutes, at exactly the time predicted. The Sicilian pizza was so good! Crust was crispy and light, but nice and thick, with delicious sauce. I will definitely come here again!

Visiting family& after a bad experience at The Godfather pizzeria, we walked across the street(where we should have went from the start)& our order was promptly taken. Customer service was absolutely phenomenal! Order came out quick& everything was fresh! As we were leaving the cashier ran over to give us honey mustard and napkins(we didn’t ask for them). 10 thumbs up

I was looking for a mom and pop Italian place on my trip up north. Pomodoro did not disappoint. The chicken parm was good, pasta was cooked perfectly.

First time trying the food here on a pickup order. The food was ready in a timely 20 minutes. I ordered a large grandma's pie and a calzone. The pie was not what I expected as traditionally the dough is thick. Pomodoro makes a very thin crust pie. I liked both the flavor of the sauce and the mozzarella cheese was fresh. I was a little disappointed by the crust. It was burnt and not edible. Also, the pie was small. Because the crust is so thin (more like bar pizza) it can't be shared by a family. For the calzone, it was a good size and tasted good! They allow you to choose whatever toppings you want to stuff inside - I went with pepperoni, peppers, onions and cheese! Since the flavors were overall good, I would order again but I would try a different pie.

Half margherita pizza no basil half margherita with basil and mushrooms. So good! The kids loved the half with no basil and mushrooms and my husband and I loved the other half! And the chicken scampi with penne was sooo delicious and fresh! Very light and refreshing lemony dish (not too lemony but it was perfectly cooked). I’ll definitely order that again. I’m wondering if I could order the chicken scampi over spinach?!

Wow. The thin crust pizza is really thin and the Sicillian was really thick. Both excellent. Lots of sausage on my slice and a big slice at that. I'll be back.

I found this spot to get lunch and called ahead my orders. I called in for myself the pasta Primavera with no dairy. I called about an hour ahead and told the nice man what time I would be there. When I arrived I parked in the lot in the back. I walked in assuming everything would be ready. The nice man greeted me by name and the 2 other meals were done but not mine. I waited about 10 minutes and asked when it would be done. He said they made a mistake and put cream in the Primavera so they had to redo it. I was running late for ny client at this point and the man apologized and told me to grab a drink on the house and I did. The 3 meals I ordered came to about $62, a little pricey but hey. When my food was finally done after about 15 minutes I jetted out. When I ate my food I will say the Primavera was very good. It was flavored well and there was plenty. I was ready to give 3 stars for the long wait and me getting to my client late but everything else pushed it to 4 for sure.

UPDATE: Pomodoro is the only restaurant Patrick & I have eaten at since COVID-19. Tonight, Ory & Antonella gave us this cool blanket as a gift. It has their name and Morristown Strong on it. It’s so warm too. Perfect for outdoor eating as it gets colder. We love this place and their food. We went back to Pomodoro tonight. July, 2020. Since we’re still in lockdown and cannot eat inside - they have a very big tent set up in back with not only tables but they have a TV set up with the Yankee game on & the liquor store is literally right there. You can meet up with friends watch a game, & have some great food. ANTEA was our waitress and never forgot about us. The food was exactly as we asked for it and it was delicious. Best Italian sauce in the state. Antonella & Ori are always checking on things to make sure everyone is happy. I can honestly say- we’ve NEVER had a bad meal here. You can’t go wrong & they have a full menu. I posted pictures of our meal. It was AMAZING. We had Father’s Day dinner Saturday night, so on Sunday we wanted something simple and not a fixed menu. We went up to Morristown center and went into Pomodoro Pizza. We had a very friendly waiter, his name was Dave and he was very pleasant & knowledgeable on the menu. We had sausage & peppers dinner along with ziti & a house salad each. The dinner was made fresh and so was the pasta, cooked exactly how we asked for it. The salad was fresh with a pleasant mix of greens, cucumbers, olives, onions and tomatoes. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the pasta sauce, it was AMAZING!!! A must try very casual atmosphere. You can sit in pizzeria or in the back dining room. Parking on the street or in the back lot. Went back again tonight 6/30/18 and had a fabulous meal once again. Oh, one more thing, the bread is made from the pizza dough and it’s addicting. We had a really great meal with everything exactly as we ordered. 5 stars for Pomodoro Pizza. Thank you Dave!!!

I have to say, I had two different slices from this joint and it was the best I've had in New Jersey (so far). I'm a fan of the thinner slice and the flavors in just the plain pizza alone are awesome. Would go there again and would recommend to others!
