Waffle House

Got a large order of food. I live roughly 10 minutes away. Got home with my order and a large portion was not in there. Went back and they wanted to just heat back up the food since it was just sitting there. Told them I wanted new food. Had to waste gas and time to get what I had originally ordered. They just blamed the shift before. Didn't want to help with taking up extra time and gas by even throwing an extra slice of bacon or anything. Just told me I could wait on my food to be recorded and it essentially wasn't their problem. Do not recommend this waffle house. Use another one if you want good service.

This particular Waffle House, was absolutely filthy. The floors had paper trash everywhere. I don’t think they had been mopped in a month. The men’s bathroom was disgusting. The toilet had not been cleaned. The only nice thing I can say is, the area where the cooks actually cooked was somewhat clean. Never go there again

We've been coming to this location for about 10 years. The staff, comes and goes, you're always meeting new personnel. But this Sunday March 20th at 7:30am, we bumped into the most, rude, disrespectful, unknowledgeable server we have ever seen. I'm not one to write reviews just because, or out of nothing else better to do but this one was unbelievable. We had just walked in - hadn't even sat down yet and hurried us for our order. Really bad attitude when placed our drink order. We decided to pay for a coke she brought us an she charged us for the coke and a coffee she never brought. .we paid an left to another Waffle house. We do not blame Waffle house but the person who hired her. We don't expect the red carpet treatment but just right service. I treat people the same way I'd like to be treated. To be clear, I am talking about an individual not the whole staff at the Cottage Hill location.

This was probably the cottage Hill Waffle House near demetropolis road. Always excellent. I'm out this way maybe once or twice a week If it was breakfast I probably had their cheese omelette which is probably the best cheese omelet I know of anywhere. I also visit another Waffle House nearer to where I normally am. I believe it was the last time I was in there it was so much fun! It was not very busy in the early evening and the four ladies were playing jukebox tunes and singing along with the songs with a wonderful Harmony. As they kept working! I tell them it was great And there is no cover charge! I gave them a dollar to keep playing some and singing, as I needed to go. I really enjoyed it. Hope I'm not getting them in trouble but believe me it was appreciated and I think more Waffle Houses could open up that way and be fun. No customer at all was left waiting for their food at that time of day and it being not busy at all. Thanks again ladies! Another reason I like Waffle houses in general is that I get to sit and watch them cook my food fresh right in front of me. I do not have any more photos to share right now.
